  • COD 8

    Killing the wild.

    I Would love that

  • people dont kill woodchucks 204. rugers kill woodchucks..good shot

  • 80 yards is a chump shot...but hit in the head is a pro shot.

  • Dear peta, would you agree to live with 30 of these dirt diggers in your home. hmmm? if not, you should thank those who controll thier population. we dont watch and descriminate videos about eating tofu and finger banging trees. so please stay off our channels....Dammit.

  • @bakerface12 Finger bangin trees LLLLOOOOOLLLLL! you just ended my bad day with a smile

  • Boom plop!

  • You're my hero! (no sarcasm). I always freaken miss on those small critters...

  • @dingstroyer keep practicing, I missed alot! when I first started hunting them.

  • You oughta feel damn lucky you're a human...

  • @mehdan2 I do as a matter of fact. I probably thank God 20 times daily for making me human so I can play with guns and kill dirt dwellers.

  • @deerslayer25

...and not being on the receiving end....

  • @mehdan2 Humans didn't become the top of the food chain for our good looks.

  • Nice shot! I wish we had those cute little furry critters here in the UK so I could shoot them. The .204 is a great hunting round, I use .17hmr or .223 here mostly for rabbits and foxes. Great work and pay no attention to the tree huggers, I honestly font understand why they watch these videos and then complain about them.....

  • I studied it in slow mo. He ducked.

  • @KamikazeElvis He ducked allright after having a portion of his head removed and doing a half gainer backwards. lol

  • That woodchuck ain't going to chuck no more wood. lol

  • @IronLion27 LOL!

  • F!@# nice shot!!!

  • looked like a badger, regardless.. fucked that nigga up

  • So do you eat the woodchuck? or is this some sort of redneck hobby?

Regardless, this video should have had FPS Dave's "BOOM headshot!" sound clip

  • wow... a mom joke, very original.

  • POW! Right in the kisser.

  • what was that ? a bunny,bear... what ???

  • hey buck i just want to say thats one hell of a shot. ill throw a lip in on that one. We skunted out 2 yesterday, and fried em in the skillet. Good eatin' buck. Now as for you jeremielibraty7 see woodchuck huntin is a way of life for some people. I don't have a good job, i just get by each day from sellin pelts. I eat an average of 2 groundhogs a week. as i said good eating buck

  • Nice shot by the way! : )

  • or a .243 55 grainers.

  • we have farms and they dig holes in the in them you dont see a hole and you run your front wheel in one it flip it over there have been lots of farms killed .... and their are big rats

  • Why do fucken tree huggers always

mossy their fucken usless asses over

to movies they don't want to see????

  • Don't worry I uase frangible rounds to avoid dying while killing innocent little furry animals.

  • So it's okay to them die but not animals?

  • lol nice shot to the dome. I live in northwest ohio, and they are everywhere. Some places i will kill 3 or 4, and a week later get 2 more in the same place. I use either a .17 fireball

  • My dad has a tc encore and shoots the 55gr. nbt's, nice rounds but expensive unless you reload. I've gotten 4300 fps out of my .204 with 32 grainers and haven't seen any pressure issues. loading up some 26 gr. vg's soon i'm predicting 4500 fps, we'll see thanks for the post.

  • so fucking funny i miss this shit ohio is hog heaven no joke

  • Was that one of the chocolates shaped like a rabbit?

  • this is a monkey?

  • i think it lost its head lol

  • Nice, but I go big with a .308 at 150 grain

  • To 360mopar360:

On a woodchuck? LOL what a clown.

    ~Kasp£arf☼

  • .308 on woodchucks? Do you want it to run away?! You need a real gun to hunt varmints. Put together a 338 Lapua...416 for deer...50 BMG for elk....40mm cannon on a C130 for Africa....

  • SWEET

  • Hey bro, this is my new user name.

  • "reach out and touch someone, reach out and just say hi"

  • ouch

  • yah i would say it is loud...we were board one day and so we shot a gamecube with me 204 and we came back into town and about 4 hours later my ears were still ringing..btw,,,there is a lot of crap in a gamecube that can stop bullets...lol...the bullet only wen in about 2 inches then it just exploeded and blew out the bottom

  • Yeah I have been amazed at how well the rounds for this gun fragment. I have only used the 32 gr. hornady so far and I am yet to have one go through the body of a woodchuck. I'm going to load up some 39 gr. sierras and am hoping they will provide some explosive excitement for the little dirt dwellers. thanks for the comment.

  • yah i plan on going prarie dog hunting tommorw...with my 204...i am sot sure on the grain number,,,they are hornday rounds tho..i think they are 39 or 40..i hoope the dogs explode...thats what i like..:P

  • Check out "your brain on 55 gr 243 bullets"

  • "explosive excitement for the little dirt dwellers." hahaha

  • the 40 grainers perform the best in my rifle.

    Love this round!

  • high five hard

  • PETA- PEOPLE EATING TASTY ANIMALS

  • Very nice high five! Awesome shot.

  • Hell of a good shot, hitting a groudhog in the head from 80 yards away is fucking good.

  • Thanks, we've hit them out much further than that. we will try to get some better vids. this year.

  • it was a good shot but he'd better be able to make that shot everyday .204 is very accurate and with good optics and a steady rest you can't miss. i use a 17 hmr on hogs alot and head shoot them to 175 yards and the 204 will easily double that. i just bought a remington vtr in the 204 YEE HAW

  • I like the .243 its an all around good round. It gives you knock down power and a little more yardage than the .22-250 yet at the same time it has very little recoil and you can load it a little heavy and use it for deer.

It's all in what you want to do with it. It's hard to beat the 22-250 in speed and accuracy up to about 300yd but the .243 will give you a little more distance and knock down power if you want to go beyond 300yrd or you want to use it for deer.

  • I use 55 gr win silvertip in my .243, it shoots them at around 3900 to 4000 fps out of the 26" barrel and 1,867 foot pounds of energy out of the muzzle. Plenty for any yote or varmint.

  • check out "your brain on 55 gr 243 bullits"

  • It's hard to tell in 'numbers', but it's considerable. The .204 does almost no recoil. On the other hand, some say that it dosen't hit as hard on the target, well at 200yd a 40gr (accuTip) shot from a .204 gives 824 lbs/ft, a 45gr (accuTip) will give 767 lbs/ft from a .22-250. If you wanna beat the .204 with the .22-250 you'll need a 50 gr to get about 900 lbs/ft. But then you'll drop faster with a 50gr.

To me the .22-250 is a 300yd caliber, then a new baby came for 400yd the .204 ruger ! =)

  • what was that (the animal) nice shot

  • That animal was a Woodchuck aka groundhog.

  • That animal was a woodchuck AKA Groundhog.

  • I love the 204. It has very little recoil which allows you to watch the critter in the scope as you shoot. It was the funniest thing to see the woodchuck do a back flip in the scope.

  • If you compared the 204 to the 22 250 how big of a difference between the recoil would you say? I'm in between getting a 204 or a 22 250.

  • thanx for the info.

  • both have very low recoil and wouldn't be a factor. The .204 is faster and flatter under 300 yds. but the 22-250 has a better coefficient of drag for the most part and is flatter at longer ranges. I haven't priced out ammo for either recently but the .204 is slightly cheaper to load. If all of your shooting is within 400 yds. than def. .204 if you want to stretch past the 500 mark at some point 22-250, my 2 cents.

  • thanx again
