the problem there is... wen he lands his bike on the foam pit on that frontflip, hes bike is horizontal flat, and in the X games, the landing pad is slightly angled to absorb the landing. thats y in the X games, he wasnt able to stick the landing

he didn't have a chance....if he would have stayed on the bike it would have been worse....the only reason the bike made it all the way around is because he pushed it away from him to stop it from landing on top of him

yah he said with all the adrinaline it felt as tho the bike was flip'n to slow. pastrana said if he would have stayed on it would've been perfect.and also 1 reason it felt slow, on a front flip u cnt c ur landing so it prbly felt like 4ever. bkflips u can c ur landing coming.

As we know, landing in a foam pit, and landing to dirt, are two totally different worlds.

It's hard enough to land any type of new trick, the first time to dirt.

But I think this might be even harder, because the momentum of his body, is in a constant forward rolling motion.

So, the impact of the landing, will probably be shifted more to his upper body and arms, than to his legs.

It'd be like running, then doing an over-rotated front flip, and trying to land on your hands.
