  • beautiful singer, voice wow!..is she related to Teresa Sing?

  • I will visit her again, do final goodbye. Maybe this year.

  • I will be back at you in Jinshan, give my share of tears. Zai Jian!

  • She was a true artist that you don't find today, long live her sprit and her love for people who she touch so much with her music.....It's a shame that the good die young... remember you forever

  • Any song by Teresa is the BEST rendition of that specific song, better than any other singer including the original singer.

    She is that good.

If we want her to go on forever, we must spread her name and introduce her rich music to those who never heard about her...we owe this to her legacy!

  • Teresa will live forever...

  • She came, she saw, she conquered (- just like Julius Caesar)! How many of us can claim or boast as illustrious a career or have won as many hearts as Teresa did in her 43 years in this world? In every respect she is far richer, spiritually and artistically, than most of us ever will be!

As I mentioned in an earlier comment: she was like a supernova that illuminated the musical sky and, now, her stardusts are in many of us - forever! RIP, our angel.

  • yeah mon...sweet sweet music.

  • I thought the Everly Brothers hit was good, but this is fantastic. Thank you, Teresa!

  • Beautiful!!!! I love this!

  • Her voice is perfect for this song. She actually improves on the Everly Brothers (and I'm a huge fan of theirs).

  • this song sound like Pachelbel's Canon in the beginning!

  • Pretty girl, pretty song, pretty voice--and an interesting rendition of this classic. Thanks for sharing it.

  • incredibile come possa cantare in inglese come in giapponese con la stessa facilità del cinese

  • Aaah, the great Everly Brothers hit of the 50's. TT's version here is sooo sweet, love it! Thanks for the video.

  • love ure sweetness teresa teng !love ure voice so much ! sweet like u!

  • To me, she is still alive, and I am and always will be in love with her. I am a westerner, and the only words in Mandarin I know come from listening to our dear, immortal Lijun. My Chinese friends help me out and are so dear to me. Once when I was in the hospital and near death, my Chinese girlfriend brought me her whole TT collection and played them all for me till I got well.

  • teresa teng,

i'm a woman but there's a gentleman in me; he is hopelessly devoted to your charm and beauty; ask my heart and you will see; with you in my arms you'll always be happy and gay; that i promise you oh sweet honey! God bless you wherever you might be!

  • Rest in peace. We love you forever.

  • Poor kid.

  • Teresa Teng makes me want to defend Taiwan

against a commie incursion from the Peoples Republic.

  • Welcome aboard!

  • @ElHombreConDosOjos What? lol I think you are wrong about two things:

    1. 99% of people in PRC loves Teresa Teng

    2. Teresa loves all Chinese, and she always claim she is Chinese, the least thing she wants to see is seperation.

    Thank you.

  • @cpowerca : Miss Teng spoke against Red China.

  • @ElHombreConDosOjos Red China? there is the government and there is the people. Miss Teng pursues freedom and would like all Chinese people to have as many freedom as they can get.

Miss Teng loves people from mainland, I remember she replied letters from students in mainland China.

Miss Teng loves Chinese, when Chinese Volleyball team won the world championship, she met them privately and sang for them.

What she wants and what the American politicians want are totally two different things.

  • I love her. Deng Li Jun, I'd rather be a ghost drifting by your side, 24 hours, than enter Heaven without you. My love for you means I'll never be a lonely spirit.

  • Me too. Want to be her slave ghost 4 ever. Won't complain. My reward will be ...just her singing.

  • Miss Teresa Teng: Genuine stardom ended with her untimely death. She visited us briefly.

  • So, having been born on January 29 of 1953 and having died on May 8 of 1995...she was 42 y.o. and 3 months of age when she left this world. Now I got it right!

  • Sure? Because she are an angel 5*

  • What a singer. I don't care how angry/depress you are she sure can melt you away and forget all the problem of this world while you are listening to her.

  • MAY I ASK WHERE IS SHE NOW?

  • Sadly she has passed away back on May 8th 1995 she was only 42 and died of an asthma attack in her hotel in Thailand She is burried in Taiwan in a cemetery called GUM BAO SAN GIN BAO SHAN 金寶山...i think anyway her grave is very extravagant it has an electronic piano that is very large and played by stepping on the keys REST IN PEACE DENG LI JUN 1953-1995

  • I love rock from the 70's,such as Deep Purple playing Child In Time, or the guitar of the late Paul Kossoff of Free playing Mr Big or Be My Friend. But I like Teresa Teng too, when I want something quiet and pure. She was brilliant, and I'm sorry she's gone. I first heard her music in the Maggie Cheung movie Comrades Almost A Love Story (Tian MiMi).

  • Beutiful sonG!!

  • like this

  • Miss Teresa Teng reminds me of the great American songstresses of the 1940's: always glamorous, heartfelt, humble, melodic...I wonder in what direction her music would've taken had she been raised in Southern California?

  • Do you mean the likes of Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald? Teresa does possess some of the characters you referred to. She also has an intrinsic sweetness which is quite unique.

As for your musing, she did live in LA for a while, which probably gave her the sassiness to her rock interpretations.

  • Teresa中文是什么意思?

  • 邓丽君

  • She was a superstar. Westerners have no idea of this woman's tremendous career and musical legacy.

  • Nice.

  • forever teresa teng

  • Wow, just as beautiful voice as in Chinese... She would probably conquer the west had she live longer...

  • thanks friend for this song ,saludos de chile

  • BEAUTIFUL GONG ZHU, BEAUTIFUL SONG

  • "A billion claps". If not because China was poor and not good at copyright stuff at the time, she could have easily sold over a billion records in a short time!

  • Yes, her record sales were already hugely successful those days in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan....just imagine adding 1 billion China to the list!

  • I love this song , thanks for up load this song ,

  • nice song... thanks a lot!
