Karacas (at recent talk) said he was about to give up animation but then got a chance with super jail and got back into it. It's cool that he mentioned that for those of talent who still struggle out there. There is no doubt Super Jail is a great story and animation. He and super jail crew are a cool crew and this video is great. Glad I could find it even if it is not the original short.

You're absolutely correct. This is what was aired on MTV's 'Cartoon Sushi' circa '97. The complete version contains a title, a brief shot of a distressed merfamily swimming, a beast shielding a robot's projectiles and an end title. Though it had been slightly edited for time, I find that the few seconds missing might make for a more succinct piece.

The same goes for Barfight. The videos on youtube all feature Barfight with music during the fight scene edited into it. The original of Barfight does not feature any music other than the slow country song that plays at the beginning and the end.

The two robots at the beginning and the end are in an opening for Surperjail. The recent episode called "Combaticus" they are in the beginning when the robot is taking the guy back to superjail, as they are flying the two robots can be seen surfing on a huge tidal wave.

i miss cartoon sushi sooooooooo much. i had a bunch of eps taped on vhs, but i wore out the tape and it snapped. dirdy birdy and those science facts with broccoli and fish are pretty good too. i wish i could really see voice be gone and the penguin documentary thing tho. Like it's predecessor (liquid television), it provided animators a chance to show off their animation prowess such as the guy who made Celebrity Deathmatch (which made its debut with the Marilyn Manson Vs.
