Mismag822, there is a much easier way to get a similar effect

Step 1: get spectator to shuffle the deck

Step 2: have yourself do a riffle shuffle after, as you do so get a glance at the bottom card laid and the top card . Those 2 cards are your prediction

Step 3: give your prediction to the spectator

But don't let them see it.

Step 4: hold the deck face down to them and have them place the prediction anywhere in the pack ( prediction still face down )

Step 5: bearing in mind that the pred

Nice but like chen0964 pointed out there is more than one way to do it.

1. Spread the cards so the spectator can see them(Say it to make sure its full deack or what ever)

2. make sure you memorize that the top and bottom card

3. wright the two cards down on a bit of paper(make sure the spectator doesn't see the prediction)

4. Split the deck and place the paper on what was the top

5. Place the bottom of the deck on top

6. Find the paper, show the prediction.

Might not be the same but close enough

Johny Samoa's version also did not use any gimmick card. He noted the top and bottom cards while showing that the deck is indeed a normal one and not preset. Then he asked the person to insert the paper on which the prediction is written (face down of course) anywhere in the deck. While turning the prediction face up, he rearranged the deck such that the top and bottom cards became the next two cards and they were revealed as such. Similar effect...no gimmicks.

Very Great Trick!!

I found a way to perform this trick without using gimmick card.

1. Set the cards the same way ( I mean the prediction cards.)

2. Let the spectator chose a card(No need to force. AND don't let the spectator see the card. )

3. Flip the deck.

4. Put the card back into the deck.

5. Control the card to the bottom.

6. Flip the bottom card ( I used the gravity half pass.)

7.Show the cards and the prediction.

All cards can be checked afterwards.
