  • @eyelesskiller8, I have an S2k there was never a mugen edition, there was definately a concept car that was introd but never produced, now if he has mugen pieces all over his car and he put a mugen sticker then he could call it the "mugen edition" again I have an s2k, I don't care if you repair planes for a living or not, that has nothing to do with S2k's, there are F20 motors putting out over 300hp NA, and by suspension coilovers and rollbars are almost a common upgreade so yea I no my stuff

  • @ngus2k wow were did u get u education junky school cause . for a car to stable the tranny has to be designed to convert the engine power to the diff and then to the wheel. s2k tranny was designed for 250 hp and according to the s2k repair manual can be used for upto 330 hp any thing more and it will have to go. so please go back to school and get ur facts right dumb ass ur Iq is probably 20

Because of retards like u people end up thinking hey why the fucks i have chunks of metal in my tranny and differential oil its because it was not designed to take it . most people who upgrade to more than 400 end up buying a new differntial cause the car is just not designed to take it.

  • @ngus2k actually s2000 mugen edtion was not a concept and was only produced in japan and was rated at 280hp. also s2000 was made for 250 hp any more and u will have to change tranny , differencial , valve timing and overlapping which is a bitch to do. also suppension will have to be changed including struts and maybe anti roll bar kit. if u dont do that u will have a unstable car. u got ur facts wrong dude. He knows how to drive, 2. He has drag slicks wheels that can put the power to the ground) He knows what he's doing, I have an s2k that's putting out just over 220 to the wheels with straight bolt on's and I don't spin unles im trying to (drift)

  • @divyanshu44878 ok.... first thing id like to ask: what country do you live in? in the US they dont sell a mugen edition.. unless you are referring to your car as the mugen CR. which DOES NOT come close to 300 hp. its more like 240 at the crank in a CR and the only upgrades that would come stock in your " mugen " edition is upgraded suspension and body additions that enhance down force.

  • -next. i actually own a turbo s2k and i can tell you from real experience that the chassis is one of the best reinforced structures that can be purchased for the price. now if you are referring to the suspension not able to handle it... wrong again. its suspension is very well capable of holding the power. or maybe u mean the differential.... and you would be right that the diff cant handle launching on that much power many times, thats why you get an upgraded diff.

  • @mynock05 the s2000 comes stock with forged pistons. the only downside when it comes to going turbo is that the compression is 11:1. but ALOT of people have made WAY over 400bhp with stock internals with and without meth injection. the f20/22 is stout and can hold it pretty well when it has been properly tuned. so no it doesnt need ANYTHING to make that power. actually the smaller turbo kits make that power in the s2k.

  • @musken85 options plenty depend on how much u want to spend u put down about 10 to 13 gs u get about 500whp 5gs u get 300whp as far as the internal dont have to do a whole lot but headgasket studs and springs and retainers well i got a full race kit on my s2k but like i said depend on how deep ur pocket is im on 21 psi @520. anyz u can check inline pro full race or even cft

  • It's really all a preference. There are turbo S2K's making 7XX WHP on stock bottom and stock tranny. I prefer turbo mostly because I have had experience with turbo cars over the years. That and because Turbo s2000's are all the craze right now here in Japan.

  • You don't have to lower the compression to turbo a car......  The higher the compression the less boost it takes to make the same power a lower comp motor makes with more boost. S2000 motors are built very well and balanced very well, so they seem to handle boost exceptionally.

  • You said nothing about WHP until now, and yes I am aware of the difference. Average RWD loses around 20% of HP through the drive train but most GM vehicles HP is underrated. My buddies GTO put down 360WHP stock and with CAI and a catback only put down 396WHP. My point is that if you spent the same amount of money on a GTO as was for this S2K I bet you would get more than enough power to beat this S2K even with the weight difference. BTW, I am not a fan of the GTO, simply stating the facts.

  • It's my wifes Caddy. I've hit 0-60 in 5.7 seconds. I removed the 3rd row, spare tire, and was running low fuel. This also resulted in a 14.6 1/4 mile run. The Escalade can do anything better than the Range Rover except off road, which even the RR sucks at. It has basically an LS3 engine. Also the RR uses a supercharger and is still slow as nuts.
