  • i live in tamworth, the flood was so CRAP. peel river overflowed and i couldnt go to mcdonalds

  • There are McDonalds on both sides of town. I guess it was still hard to get there though.

  • buuuut. i dont like that mcdonalds. you would think the food is the same , but no. it isnt

  • The food is different? Well, i've always gone to the same one usually so i wouldn't know.

  • Nice effort capturing this from NBN, always interesting to see how they cover the matter.

  • There was also another report a few minutes later but i was recording another channel then. I know it had footage from Scotts Rd looking over the flood, though.

  • Don't remember this,

  • I live in Tamworth

  • Mate in 1956 people were swimming in peel street, dont talk to me bout facts

  • Well if you lived there and sat through it all, like we all did, you wouldn't be talking it down, respect to the people who had homes and crops damaged.

  • i think you are wrong it was 1955 the big flood do your research

  • My old man has seen them all and he says it was the worse. has anyone seen what they did on Gunnedah?

  • If I may correct the news crew on doing such a great job at researching Tamworths recent flood history, they may need a bit of guidence in their research to know the biggest flood in Tamworths history was not infact "130 years ago", it was in 1956 to be exact. Bit of advice from someone who was born and raised in Tamworth..."Do your research"
