@elizagirl04 Actually Guitar Hero is the knockoff. Activision bought out Red Octane (they helped make Guitar Hero 1 and 2) along with the Guitar Hero title. Harmonix (who also was on Guitar Hero 1 and 2) went on to make Rock Band. So technically the Guitar Hero games after 2 have been knock offs of Harmonix and Red Octane's original idea, and the Rock Band games are the more original since they are made by Harmonix.
