@w746ehj Nope, the shape shifting is a unique aspect of the Kheldian Archetypes (Peacebringer and Warshades). You can always side-switch the Kheldians into villains at level 20+, though. The Villain Epic Archetypes have their own unique mechanic (the branching component, which makes them doubly interesting in combination with multiple builds).
The Villain Archetypes, in general, are also much more unique as far as classes go compared to other games, as well as Heroes.
@w746ehj It's the Warshade's Nova Form power (aka 'Squid'), available at level 6+. Warshades are one of the 4 Epic Archetypes in the game, unlocked by getting a character to level 20 in their respective alignments (Warshades & Peacebringers for Heroes, Arachnos Solders and Arachnos Widows for Villains- none yet for Praetorians).
Shouldnt have posted this! Keeping the room a secret is part of the secret. BTW what server? Im Freedom/Guardian-Guardian being my first server. Clasher1 was my global.
@Dracohero Most people will still never see it, since you have to first find a way outside the appropriate map(s), with the appropriate powers. I used to play on Freedom, Virtue, and Guardian, but let my account lapse mid/late last year. I've been tempted to go back, since there's really no other MMO with even slightly similar gameplay/stylings, but probably going to wait until the next issue to hopefully have multiple Incarnate levels to mess with.
@KitsuneKnight Yea, I quit this game a while back. Every once and a while I get tempted to return. BTW, do you log in and out to get under the map or the other way?
I go in there quite a bit actually. I know how to get there in PI but no other zone...my global is @Spiked Green Hornet, I play on freedom mostly. Hit me up if ya want
A few years ago in a baby new year mission a few friends and i were running randomly at the trees and we fell off of the map. We fell for about 5 seconds and suddenly stopped, taking massive damage. It was really cool, but i forgot how to get in.
I've been in that room before. When Areas were first added to the game any character I had in a zone with an area just automatically logged on inside there. I didn't get in the same way you did and at that time there were no doors in the room like in that video but otherwise looked the same. Why would they update something that isn't even an offical part of the game and why does that room even exsist at all? Maybe it's a Dev start point when they log on?
I believe it was meant to be some sort of loading area/waiting room for the Arena that they scrapped (but didn't delete). It's possible some Dev can around later to see if they salvage it and added the doors before giving up.
There's quite a few things outside the normal maps that players never really see, but exists anyways, likely as discarded/incomplete projects.
I allso spawned outside of the war walls one time and noticed that there was an unfinished zone on the other side. This is something I think it intentional because you can see it threw the war walls. I think it's there to actully give the feeling that there is another zone on the other side without actully haveing one rather than seeing nothing on the other side. And it works untill you get to the other side and find out it's all smoke and mirrors. ;)
I was more so referring to things you *can't* see from inside the zone (such as the all the stuff underground).
You might notice at the start of the video some weird objects in the sky- that's actually the Paragon Island from under the ground. Several of the older zones (like Skyway) have a MASSIVE amount of random junk under the streets.
You need to first get outside the normal constraints of one of the zones with an Arena (like Peregrine Island), generally via a hole in the geometry of the map (I'm not aware of any holes now, though). From there, you fly *under* the room like in the video, then use the /stuck command to be brought into the room.
I first found out about this one when I stumbled across a mention of this on the official boards.
Actually, it's the blue box (At least the one in PI). What you do is fly directly under it, then type '/stuck', and the game will move you to being inside the room. Of course, if you get in, you CAN NOT get out without being teleported... so be careful!
Sweeet is there a special form for vill archtypes?

Mind you, you could get in trouble for this.
