  • I have this Laptop.But i'm 14(look at my Videos)

  • @MrJojoman123 Your age is irrelevant. You're just trying to show off.

  • I have this Laptop.But i'm 14

  • if money is no object, which laptop should I get, the Alienware m17x, or this one. and which design do you think will last longer?

  • Comment removed

  • should i get a sager?

  • gtx280m 'sli'!!?

  • Lol, my system I am currently building is just as good (GPU is actually better) than this, and it is only costing me $600 to build ;)

  • @m1up Just an FYI, SLI'd 280ms cost over 1000 dollars even if you buy direct, so keep dreaming.

  • @woodpusher637

I get it cheap. I have them sources ya know ;)

    Real nice lappy tho.

  • instead of gamin laptops y dont ppl just get custom build pcs? its cheaper tough

  • @AnimeFanBadAsS

Because some ppl need to travel alot and still need a powerful system which they can use everywhere. Lanparty's. As a mobile workstation. we still need wallpower.

but it works fine... i am not gonna bring a big gaming rig with me.. instead i am using the X8100.

  • Fucking crap why cant laptop makers put on propper Firewire ports? >:

  • @dawoof y do u need firewire?

  • Its better than porn.

  • @fireofsev if you dont use it you lose it

  • shame i cant find any uk companys that sell these.

  • kobaltcomputers co uk sells them. I purchased a different model from them though.

  • @NGT4LIFE there is one.. i forgot the name thou.. go search for rebranded Clevo companies. The one I know are Sager, Xotic PC, Eurocom, Ibuypower, Hypersonic PC,... any many more.... =_=

  • u cant fool me with your hand rotating the barstool!!

  • good god... ive been dying for one of these but ill probably have to settle for the NP8690. i heard its still really good though.

  • I love mine and I am sure if you get one you will love it to.

  • you would think a $3,000+ gaming laptop would at least include the OPTION for a backlit keyboard....

  • @anarky4321 this laptop isn't over $3000, you can get it for about $2250.

  • Backlit keyboards are just another thing wasting power. If you need to look down at the keyboard when using it you have no reason to buy thing high end of a laptop.

  • @anarky4321 I think that a real gamer can use his keyboard without lookin at it :)

  • @anarky4321 thats clevo for ya...

  • @anarky4321 the only downside

  • This lappy looks so poor compared to the Alienware m17X

  • contrary...to your comment this one looks clean sleek and expensive and the alienware looks like it tries to impress you and make you feel better for the money you paid for it.

those things are ugly...they arent laptops...they look like toys youd be embarassed to take to a meeting.

  • Dude you are a brainwashed tool, hell my NP8662 kicks the shit out of an Alienwares M17 series! The NP9850 has about every bell and whistle one could even dream of having and at 2/3 the cost of an Alienware/Dell I might add.

  • But it costs less and has the same features.

  • How so?

  • This does look poor compared to the m17x. I'm tired of hearing people rag on Alienware. It's always about the cost of the computer followed by "it sucks" with no explanation of why. This laptop looks like any laptop from ten years ago with some m17x knock-off lights. Not to mention the cheesy tramp stamp on the lid. Absolutely no effort in design, although the volume adjuster is cool.

  • The reason why people bag on Dellienware is because of a couple reason.

    1. Call Support suck major

2.You pay for flashy lights when you can get a Sager/Clevo for 15-20% cheaper for the same performance. For example, the M15x and the Sager 8690. For $2000, the Sager would have better performance due to the GTX280M compared to the GTX260M. Also the M15X is having a problem with a throttling GPU

Both are good products, but with Sager/Clevo you pay for performance compared to flashy lights.

  • @stevensons thats right, and most people dont even know that most of Alienware's previous laptops were MADE by CLEVO!! so are some of dell's laptops. Dell is mainly manufactured by Compal thou... LOL, dont waste ur money buying a Alienware, Clevo will run circles around it.

  • actually not 700 but $400 difference

  • i'm trying to get a m17x, but this is very sexy = O, now add a back-lit keyboard, core i7 option for processor, and cut the price by like 500 haha

i must say it kind of beats the alienware m17x = d

never in price though = P, that extra screen length chews a hole threw alot of wallets

  • m17x is is shit overheating I had one about 4 weeks and it broke get sagar

  • get one for like $700 or so more?, good god i'm not rich

and m17x is the last laptop to overheat, i can't take belief to what you say because alot of people don't know what there doing with laptops.

then i get one and it works all dandy = )

i wonder if this one overheats on that fact, but my point stands, it'll need a big discount for me to make a sagar purchase = P

  • I'm going to get a Sager NP8690. (The NP9850 is too pricy)

  • i thought sagers are very ugly.. i like the whole top lid with all the lights, but the thickness is just too much, thats where it kills it.. other than that beautiful machine

  • my dream....im just using some shitty ACER...

  • completely out of my budget but still really REALLY like the way it looks and the specs.

incase i ever do afford one of these...how is it with heat?

reason why im asking is because im forced to use an hp that i bought in 2000 because my 17" hp laptop decided to melt its own motherboard even with a cooling pad.

  • it would be better if it had the key board back lit any wayz way sexier thn the m17z

  • Go for a Core i7 gaming Laptop :)

    will be amazing

  • Like the Sager d900f? Oh man, that is a beast!

  • How much of this laptop price???

  • GUYS should i sell my np9262 for this???

i will miss my quad core desktop processor :[

  • If you have the dual 9800s, no way.

  • i dont mean to spam, but:

i'll be making a very thorough review of this once i get mine. its already shipped so ill be doing that soon. check out my channel 4 more info.

  • very detailed thx <3

  • Why is anyone interested in desktops? do people still use those things? with this you can frag while on the toilet!

  • u wont get a lot of battery life though...+ not all toilet has a desk in front of the toilet seat for u to play games with ur laptop lol but i have to say though...gaming laptops are awesome....i have a gaming laptop and a gaming desktop...at one time, i just used my laptop and forgot abt my desktop lol

  • she's sexy@!!!!!!!!!!

  • would be nice to have a small display like in the old XPS 1730 for gaming :)

  • WOW this amazing seeing a Video makes a lot of difference, i will wait till W7 is out & then will get one

  • all vendors currently offer the w7 upgrade free with the purchase of vista. I think the official release is around mid oct, but theres no need to wait

  • If its the software installation you're worried about, don't even. It is so easy, like installing a mp3 file! ^^

  • You install MP3s? WTF.

  • I was comparing installing a new os to downloading an mp3 file.

  • Holy crap! When did you guys start selling sagers?! That looks amazing. This thing is beast, i always heard that it looked pretty awesome but this is the first time I've seen it so in depth, 5 stars.

  • Great, thanks for the video. But can we please see how well it runs Crysis on High and X4 AA?

  • Dude, it could run those at the same time on high settings

  • I agree you!

  • this is a very fast laptop

too bad the gtx 3xxM series are coming out soon

this laptop didnt shine as it should
