I only saw two of your Bright Eyes covers so, I probably can't make a a real comparison but, from what I've seen, this is SO much better than those. And, I liked those. I really do think that you deserve some kind of recording contract because you're not only really good at singing, but you're a great songwriter as well. I like how artsy this video is too. It actually reminds me of some of my bf's photography and I think it helps to get your point across even better.

You sound exactly like Bright Eyes. Exactly. Find your own voice and you'll be tons more interesting. Your writing isn't bad and the emotion is there but its hard to feel it completely when you are covering up your own unique heart by trying so hard to sound like somebody else. @godzillawren I really don't get it. He sounds nothing like Bright Eyes. He sounds like himself and that's awesome. He has a really unique voice and his lyrics are very different from Bright Eyes.

This song is awesome and you can deffinatly feel the emotion he's giving off. In fact, it's kind of hard not to. He has more than potential to be great. He is great now. It's hard to find music this original these days so kudos to him.
