  • I'm both Viking and Slavic.

    Well, by blood at least.

    I have never been to a Slavic or Scandinavian country ;_;

And is it just me or are Slavic women the most beautiful people on earth?

  • @TheEnviroFriend ey me maybe as well. you know, fathers forefathers are from around kaliningrad, and stayed there until 1945, they owned a lot of ground so i think their family must have been there quite a while. and in that area both slavic tribes and the viking rus tribes lived about 1000 years ago. rest of my family is from the eastern parts of todays germany, thats to say from right the middle of germanic grounds. and now i live in sweden^^ and i love the cold winters, or especially the fall

  • @tysken94 My Family story is pretty typical in America, just descended from immigrants who came here to escape either political oppression, war, or poverty.

My Family mostly comes from Norway, Slovenia, and Sweden. I'm more than half Scandinavian, and 1/4 Slovenian, but I look more Slovenian and have a Slovenian name.

I also have a little German, Scott, and Saami in me, as well as some unknown parts of my family tree, so I could have just about anything in my family tree.

  • @TheEnviroFriend ah, interesting. i think there is nobody today, not even in bloody iceland, who got 100% of one ancestry :)

  • @TheRootMaster sława wam

  • jak słyszę taką nutke to słowiański instynkt sie we mnie budzi i chce sie ubrac w ciuchy z epoki i pobiec do lasu aaa i wyrzezbić posąg Swarożyca i czcic go

  • it is amazing how all this instruments are almost identicle to ones that we have in traditional Iran, for example the instrument the man is playing that strums like a guitar,we have many instruments that look identicle to it, like the cetar, ude, and many other; the middle-lady playing that similar violen instrument we have the kamun-che, and lastly the drum we have the Do-hol played in the Nouwrouz. Even the notes they play is similar, beautiful link between the Airiyan nations Long Live

  • @yashil17 They are so similar because slavs are descendants of Sarmatians an ancient iranian folk that settled in Central and Eastern Europe

  • @WodzuUK

yes bro, exactly what i were to say for the reason of the link which is not only in music, but in many different things, even in physical features of the Airiyans present in both nations - from Sarmatians/ancient Iranians

    Long live Airiyans

  • my question would be: could i have the blood of germanic and scandinavian, maybe also slavic tribes?

  • @tysken94 u r Aryan!

  • @Unhold1488 i am not. you should really read about what the aryans are. but please not from the websites of the hitler club.

  • i am born in germany. near the oder(in the are known as oderbruch). my forefathers are from all over the former prussian empire. my mothers forefathers originate from sachsen and sachsen-anhalt. my fathers ancestry is a bit more complicated. his father originates in several known generations from ostpreussen, while my grandmothers fathers ancestry lies in the sudetes and her mothers in the "oderbruch". so, assuming that the ancestry as far as we know it has always been there...

  • Zdecydowanie jedna z moich ulubionych :)

  • What's that beat in the background? It seems out of time and it isnt in another copy of this recording

  • @Socinus What do you exatcly mean?

  • @yarpennus It starts at the 20 second mark, it's a higher pitched tap that stands out a little bit if you listen closely. I have another copy of this song and that same sound isnt in my copy.

  • Probably the best song in the world :)

  • I wonder if those gals have hairy pussies?

  • @Evanmonster1 Is that the only thing you care about? You're American, aren't you?

  • @YazdegerdIII I'm from Antarctica! We only have penguins here, so of course thats all I care about!

  • I watched them play live last year, absolutely amazing. The blonde girl who plays the drum has incredible passion, really she can really belt out the tunes like her spirit is on fire.

  • noż ku..wa mać,nawet tu jesteście wy horny i lutomy przebrzydłe heh..i nawet hołd oddajecie mojej rzeźbie, mam nadzieje że dlatego że z taką starannością zrobiona,,gratki dla was,pozdrawiam...utwór dobry;]

  • POLONIA!!!

  • "Tambura" is a tradicional bosnian instrument

  • I'm proud to be a Slav

  • Jaki typ hełmu trzyma pan wojownik w 0:58?

Szyszak wielkopolski?

Praktycznie do każdego hełmu możesz doczepić oplot kolczy. ; )

Zawsze musicie mieszać w to religię? Jestem poganinem, a lubię gospel i jego klimat np. To źle?

  • @PaulGhostOfficialTv Opowiem Ci o paru mitach. Jeden z nich to wniebowstąpienie

Chuj Cie obchodzi zjebie w co on wierzy. Wypierdalaj

  • @LowCry997 łał, 14 letnia kupa zajebanego śmierdzącego kału próbuje mnie pouczać i dojebać pseudo-inteligentny komentarzem.

  • @PaulGhostOfficialTv Łał, debil z kutasem herkulesa w dupie.

  • @PaulGhostOfficialTv

Metal to metal.

    P.S.

  • @PaulGhostOfficialTv

    P.S.

A Ty jakiej jesteś narodowości Warszawiaku? :D

    P.P.S

Łatwo Cię poirytować. Jeśli o mnie chodzi to nawet nieźle się bawię;)

  • @PaulGhostOfficialTv

  • @PaulGhostOfficialTv

Ach ach, świetne masz argumenty. Leczysz kompleksy i tyle.

  • @PaulGhostOfficialTv Czytając twoje komentarze i patrząc w jaki sposób odpisujesz to wnioskuje że masz góra 17 lat i jesteś kretynem :) dziękuje dobranoc! :)

Gratuluję ci samooceny a teraz wypierdalaj, kmiocie. Pozdrów rodzinę z krzaków.

  • @PaulGhostOfficialTv Nie sorki pomyliłem się i dałem ci dwa lata za dużo :) dziękuje dobranoc!

  • @Ulfr1991 ciąg druta kurwo i giń, a tą surówkę wpierdol se w dupę

  • @PaulGhostOfficialTv

Jebnąłbym cię o kant chuja i byś poleciał, kurwiszonie, tam skąd przybyłeś czyli do lasu.

  • slava slavenska !

  • I'm genuinely curious why so many peeps from Slavic descend have such a chip on their shoulder if it comes to germanic peeps. I know a Polish guy like that and on the topic he tried to convince me that Slavic peeps be equal to Germanics (I'm from germanic descend) and I just have NO idea why he expects me to think any less of Slavs. Anyone care to answer that?

  • Ignorants should be ignored

  • @diekerel

I have a German friend, [I am a Pole], we both live in the Netherlands, we often stepped on topic about Polish-German, German-Polish envy. For us the answer is simple: because of the mind of these people, based on stories passed from generations, and i'm sure you know our history. You know that fanaticism destroys. These people are brain washed , isolated. Doctrines divide us, whether it is a religion, homeland, [the whole sick history] etc. We all live on the same sinking boat...

  • @limeczek So to make it clear when talking about germanic you peeps just mean Germans? There's a difference there. And the whole slavic vs germanic thing is actually Polish vs German?

And that despite some differences in essence you all are of the same mind, but religion/government prevents it from you peeps to be just happy neighbours in a sense? Well thanks for answering, atleast I kinda get a picture here. =)

  • Slavs were not Germans and will never be. By DNA, language/culture you're completely different. I don't understand why all this 'Viking wannabe' from you Poles (especially). Your Slavic culture is rich enough to be proud of, no need to be something else...

As for the Vikings, that was the name of the Nordic pirates NOT the whole Scandinavians were called Vikings. And those groups came mostly from Norway, Sweden and Dan.

  • Slavs, stick to you slavic tradition/culture, stop wannabe Vikings(germanic) cause you look funny...

  • @Errvald it was wrote above that is viking music with slavic elements if you want typicall slavic look for "Żywiołak"or Slavland"Percival "Pasla"etc. They make just folk music so what that they are Slavs they can do music all over the world.

  • @Errvald well in early Middle Ages Slavs had contacts with Vikings especially Poles from nothern part of Poland so the cultures ware not that different ,Wolin Island where today have place annual Festival of Slavs and Vikings.

This band is polish and play muisc influenced with Slavic and Germanic culture.Slavs from west tribes had similar cultures like Germans from the east tribes.

  • @olekman12 Yeah Slavs wearing the Mjolnir...stick to Slavic culture.

German and Slavs are 2 completely different cultures/people.

It's known that Polish people are trying hard to be German, such complex...

  • @Errvald yeah Im very proud of my Slavic origin but genetics says that we r all Indoeuropeans from the same root , so why I shoud have complexes I dont understand ,have you any knowladge or you just read Main Kampf ,you speak like Nazi .We lived just close to eachothe, fought ,I cant see nothing strange in that,Russians for exaple have cyrilic alphabet but we do not have a lot of differences.Throw your speach to rabish bin.You said stick to Slavic culture but you dont know really what it is.

  • @olekman12 fuck you, scum, Slaves are something differnt form german scum !!! its nazi ideologi the we are the same !!!!

  • @Errvald POlish people never wanted to be German we ware under 3 partitions by 123 years and we preserved our own culture.SO do not speak bulshit and open your eyes.LIsten to polish Rota ,there is true about our history.Really I've never heard bulshit like that before

  • @Errvald we fought with the Germans from the dawn of history, first with the German tribes then with Teutonic Knights ,then with the Nazis .... always wanted to destroy us, but always failed. So how we could want to be our own enemy.lol

  • @Errvald you don't know anything about slavic mythology and especially west slavic mythology and history...

Berlin was a bog with out a soul before the Slavs came in the 5th century... they always believe in the same things as the nordic vikings and the name RUSSIA CAME FROM VIKINGS... JOMSBORG VIKINGS have always been knows as SLAVIC VIKINGS and they kicked more ass than any nordic german..even the nordic vikings have written about the jomsborg vikings as the TOUGHEST AND BEST WARRIORS ON EARTH

  • @ZeroBoostBuick with your logic we can all assume that today Slavs are Asiatic then?

  • @Errvald your jealousy of not being slavic is really showing LOL

    SLAVIC POWER 4 EVER !!!!

and you're ignorance about history and archeology is immense !!! way to go stupid, get a brain then open your dump mouth.

  • @ZeroBoostBuick Yeah jealous right, you tell by the videos you poles post online trying to pass Germanic LOL

...it's ok you can all dream...

  • Comment removed

  • @VendPrekmurec But Russia was formed by a nordic viking Rjurik

  • @fcbcdl don't mix vegetables with fruits. Vikings were from Jarl gothic Swedish tribes, when Variags were from Variag or Vagrian (Venetic - Slavic) tribes. This is well described by Germanic historian Adam von Bremen (who were Variags and their capital city Stargrad - "old city") Rjurik was Venetic (slavic) Khan (a Knez - "prince" in time of war). He was trained since his childhood as a elite warrior and proved his honor, faith to their people - Slavs and was invited into Veche.

  • @fcbcdl The Vagrian Venetic tribe became rulers of Rost or Rus Venetic (Slovin) tribe and their new capital city was called Novogorod or "new city". And old names of "Grad" was also Gard. That's why many "historians" mix Vikings and Variags - both of them are not equal tribes. Julius Cezar described Veneti as Sea people. World in 9th century AD was different than today.

  • Thors hammer pendents have been found in poland dating back to the 8th century... read some real history and archeology books before you think that SLAVS are not vikings... there is enough sagas to confirm Slavic people to be not much different in culture than the nordic vikings.

  • @ZeroBoostBuick Those were not Thor's those were Perun's axes. Slavs wore that to express their faith to the Old Gods. Much like the Vikings who wore Mjolnir for the same reason.

  • @sugessad digging further I realized that Perun was a east slavic deity and in the wendish polabian (west slavic) lands we had Swientowit... even the Danish vikings regularly made trips to Arkona (Rugen) and gave offerings to the Slavic god because they had enough respect to realize it's the same god as their own just with a different name.

History of the slavic people and their ancient religion is a speculation now a days because no one really knows... all we know was written by Christians.

  • @ZeroBoostBuick Yeah the religions are the same just with different names. Swientowit in south slavic is Svetovid. Christians have the tendency to ruin everything : (

  • @olekman12

Yes,germanic culture is like proto balto-slavic (indo iranian) mixed with kelto-italic with a small prevalence of native european nordic.

There is no shame for a slav to be proud of the Vikings, cousin cultures, that even mixed in some places.

  • @Errvald read a book about ancient archeology and pre-christian european history or shut the fuck up...you're ignorance dwarfs that of a monkey's. You probably think that most vikings had horns on their helmets like in the cartoons and hollywood movies, go back to reading dumb ass thor comic books.... your IQ level, knowledge and wisdom is not even worth spitting on.... you're a waste of human flesh like most of the world today.

  • @Glee861 ARe you Sorb?

  • @Glee861 well, modern germans are "german" only from name...mostly of them are, celts(if i good remember 60%),slavs and have also some semitic blood...only small part of modern german have typical german type of dna...all is in dna :)....all thanks to franks(carol the great etc etc) who named conqured lands aka old names used by romans..they didn't care about culture etc etc...just name them all-germans ;)

  • @Glee861 Slavic..germanic...same familly. I`m romanian, a mix between slavs and roman colonists!:)But jedging by my hair and skin colour i look more slavic than italic.

  • @dreacul Not Slavs, but Dacians. Romanians are a mix of Dacians and Roman colonists.

  • @Lavard14 Indeed, the dacians and romans mixed up but I dunno why romanian scientists always tried to deny the fact that also the slavs who settled in this region had a significant rolle in the romanian ethnogenesis? 14% of the romanian words has slavic roots the rest are latin and dacian.

  • @dreacul

    1) Roman doesn't not mean Italic - the Romans consisted of all the possible peoples/ethnicities around the Mediterranean...

    2) You ignore the Dacians...

    3) The populace between the Danube and the Carpathians was going to be even more Slavic, had it not been the relentless raids and invasions of Magyars, Mongols, etc.! But it's quite Slavic also for the numbers of Bulgarians escaping there, off the Turkish Atrocities when their Tsardom fell...

In the M. Ages - Dacia = Northern Bulgaria.

  • ......The Maori people often have blue eyes or dark blonde hair or highlights. I know of this cause im a Swede and moved and lived in New Zealand and Samoa for many years.

  • @pgengman You make me yealous :P

  • Vikings also reached New Zealand and the pacific islands. There are villages in Samoa named after viking visits. And talk to any Maori elder and they will say they were intermixed with viking settlers long ago. And you can see that in many Maori buildings and maori people. The buildings have the same dragons and same ornaments as the viking buildings back in Scandinavia. .......

  • @pgengman I have actually heard about this before, anyway its a very intresting subject :)

    Cheers

  • Thats great polish band hell yeah

  • Hail from Vinland~~!

  • 12 The word Rus (Rhos) has it origin from the area in now days Sweden called Roslagen. And that means the rowers law.

13 In the viking age the areas Uppland and Södermanland and east Gotland was also called Roder of Rodin which means the ships law or the rowers law.

  • I almost died from this Scandinavian crackle!

  • @Dmitrishak they are not from Scandinavia-_- but yes this is good shit !

  • @MsLikeaChola I understand that they are not the Vikings, but I am outraged by what is now fashionable to be a German.I hate the Slavic people who admire the culture of the Germanic peoples.Slavic music is beautiful, melodic, and fun.And this is how I understand the medieval Viking, sad shit.Slavs must understand that the German people are no match for us.I do not know how they think the Western Slavs, but the Eastern Slavs, the Germans had not stood up to his knees.

  • @Dmitrishak ? The east Slavs mixed with the Rus Varangians from now days Sweden and we are North Germanic tribes in Sweden just like the Saxons, Angles and Jutes was west Germanic tribes.

The Rus Varangians from now days Sweden alson founded the Varangian guard down at Constantinopel and was the founding fathers of Kievian Rus and Rus kingdom in the east.

    Cheers

  • @BirkaViking This is called Norman theory.Theory as we know this assumption.I'm leaning toward the theory of the Baltic Slavs (the Obotrites).Founder of the Norman theory Schlotzer was an ardent German studies and did not give special consideration to the comments Russian historians.Shlotzer acted in favor of the Empress Catherine, who was known as a German.

I feel closer to the theory of the great Russian historian, Mikhail Lomonosov(By the way bitter rival Schlozer).

  • @Dmitrishak By the way the Obotrites very long held sway in the Baltic Sea, often robbing the Scandinavian coast.Often during the raids the Obotrites taken prisoner Scandinavian women, men and children.Captives were sold in Byzantium (by the way knew the way to Byzantium, not worse the Vikings), shipbuilding has long been known to them.So that someone was a founder of the princely house of Rurik the big question(?).

  • @Dmitrishak I understand that you as a Swede pleasant Norman theory, but first read the other theories.I have read three theories, and came to his conclusion,,,From themselves as from the Russian Slavic people add that nothing in Russia Scandinavia does not and never was!p.s: the comment addressed to you, I accidentally said to myself, but I think you understand.

  • @Dmitrishak If you then look where the findings after the Rus Varangians are here in Sweden you will see and understand that the Rus Varangians was 3 tribes from Sweden. The Swedes, Gotlanders and the Geats.

  • @Dmitrishak You can look at my video : The Rus vikings in the east for more info.

    Cheers

  • @BirkaViking I looked at videos and my opinion has not changed.Nothing sensational, and the new I have not seen it.Everything that I saw could easily apply to The Obotrites, geographic location The Obotrites almost the same .....The Primary Chronicle of Nestor the monk said that the Russes and the Slavs of the same kind, and language.

  • @Dmitrishak You obviously havent read the the Primary Chronical of Nestor. He wrote this: The Rus was a group of Varangians among others like Swedes and Gutes who lived on the other side of the Baltic Sea." Note that the Geats are not mentioned here!!!!!!!!.

But here is the intresting part: In the Frankish Chronicel Annales Bertiniani written 839ad the Rus is identified as Germanic tribe called Swedes inform of Rhos.

  • @BirkaViking Primary Chronicle, I read carefully, and it does not say that the Russes are Swedes. Here's what they say:Progeny of Japheth also: Varangians, Swedes, Norsemen [Norwegians] Goths [inhabitants of Gotland], Russia, England, Galicians, Volokh, Romans, Germans, korlyazi, Venetians, fryagi [Franks] and others.Russes not referred to as the Swedes, and are separated by a comma separated.Read more.Or you have a Swedish version of the chronicles?

  • @Dmitrishak First of all I said that the Rus has only been identified one time in history as inform of Rhos and that identification was in the Frankish chronicel Annales as a Germanic tribe called Swedes.

The its easy to track the Rus to now days Sweden because of the enormous treasures the Varangians Rus took back home from the east. And the Varangians Rus traded with the Arabs and there has been found more Arabic coins in Sweden then the Arabs has found them self from this time period.

  • @BirkaViking Archaeological finds made in the XX century in Pskov, Novgorod, Ruse, Ladoga, etc., indicate a very close relation of the population north of Old Russia with the Slavic south bank of the Baltic Sea - a Pomeranian and Polabian Slavs. According to many scientists in the early medieval period, the southern Baltic Slavs moved directly to the relevant land north of the future of Kievan Rus.

  • @BirkaViking The argument Slavic theory cites the fact that the Russian-Byzantine treaty 907 years after the Rus swear by their weapons, and their gods Perun and Veles (common to the Indo-European tribal deity, for example: Baltic Perkunas, Velnyas; al-ind. vedic Parjanya , Val, etc.), and the heroes of Norse mythology, such as Thor, and Frey is not mentioned.

  • @Dmitrishak Then also the muslim writer Ashmed ibn Fadlan produced in the 10 century a description of the Rus chieftain viking funeral. His account is a unique source of the ceremonie surrounding the viking funerals.

Then we have our Runestones here in Sweden that tell about the travells to the east now days Russia ,Ukraine and also their service in the Varangians guard in the Byzantine empire.

Then also all the first Rus rulers has Scandinavian names what ever you like it or not.

  • @BirkaViking What about the Frankish Chronic. The Obotrites after his fall swore allegiance to the Franks (Franks and logical to consider their own).On the lands of the Duchy of Mecklenburg bodrichey arose, Slavic dynasty Niklotingov / Niklotichey degenerated into a typical German feudal lords.

  • @Dmitrishak And what about the Arab authors? Some authors call Russ was used in the broader sense, denoting all the inhabitants of the forest zone of Eastern Europe regardless of their language and ethnicity (in particular, Ibn Yaqub styled so speaking Slavic Czechs and Poles, Al-Masoudi - German Saxons, Ibn Fadlan - Turkic-speaking Volga Bulgars ).

  • @Dmitrishak Then you should know that now days Sweden was among the richest places on earth during the viking age. The Rus Varangians traded very much with the Arabs. So in now days Sweden there has been found more Arabic coins then the Arabs has found them self from this time period. And tonnes of silver has been found in Sweden that the Rus Varangians brought home from their journeys in the east.

  • @BirkaViking What about the Scandinavian names of Rurik. Many of the names of the Slavs-The Obotrites were Germanized under Francs. For example Slavic name Godislav when the Germans began to sound like Gottlieb. What about the Arab coins and trading with the Arab world. This coins could get in the Volga Bulgaria which had trade relations with the Arabs (Bulgars were Muslims).

  • @Dmitrishak In the XII century, after numerous and lengthy war with the Christian German feudal lords and knights, crusaders, North Polabe, including land and bodrichey lyutichey poured into the Holy Roman Empire.

  • @BirkaViking Here's what else is said in the chronicle: "And they went overseas to Varangians to Russia. Those varangians called Rus, like other [people] are called Swedes and others Normans and Angles, and still other Gotlanders - these and these. And from those varangians nicknamed the Russian land. "

  • @BirkaViking That is, what about The Rus Ibn Hordadbeh: "If we talk of the merchants and Rouse, those of the Slavs. They deliver rabbit skins, pelts of black foxes and the swords of the most remote of the Slavs to Rumiyskomu sea.

  • @Dmitrishak But if you look where the findings in Sweden from the east are found. There is foundings in both the Swedes areas and the Gutes=Gotlanders and the Geats in Götaland. The you should know that Varangians is a Germanic word that means under oath.

The Varangian Rus arrived already in the early 700ad to the area around lake Ladoga there archelogist has found viking settlements that match with the middle of Sweden area.

  • @BirkaViking Rujan in recent annals of Magdeburg (XII century) might have called Russian (Rusci), as reported by A. Kuzmin, with reference to the work of the year 1859 and, therefore, Russia was the name of the Baltic Slavs - natives of this island.
