Honestly, you will get the it down so easily that you don't realize that your sliding your fingers up and down the guitar. You have to practice on Practice Mode and do easy songs to get to the rhythm down. I play expert and no I am not a nerd. I am 12, and I do have a life. I started playing when i 11 and It took me a while to get Hard and Expert down but I do Expert on Freaking hard songs.
