I am against pitbulls fighting pits or other dogs, but I think pits are meant to hunt, theyve been doing it for ages, I have a pit and dont teach him to be aggressive at all but hes always running outside to chase cats and squirrels or other male dogs, my trainer said he has a natural tendency to hunt which is why hes so predatorial, and I walk him 4 x a day. pits just have that natural tendency to work hard

Thats is so cool. My husband wants to get a pit and if we ever did he would want them to hunt hogs too. I think that would be awesome. We have a french mastiff now but he's not aggresive enough to ever do that.....I don't think? Watch him on my channel he's growing up to be a real beauty....if i should say so myself

I just want to say. If any one out there thinks this is cruel its not. This is what the Bully breed was bred for. I'm totally AGAINST dog fighting (amongst eachother) But boar bating is a job for them..they love it. And of course its only humane when its for troubling boars.

What funny is these hogs are VERY destructive and mean! THey are also over populating!! They eat anything and everything, and will kill a person easy. I hate pigs, disgusting nasty things. They have in our area killed, horses, cows, dogs, deer, and a few turkey they are becomeing a huge problem!

When I was a kid I lived out there, Was riding the school bus to school in Indiantown, and I was looking out the window there was a giant red razor back boar running down the hwy along side of the bus, I swear that beast must have been 500+ lb. Sorry to hear your cur got hurt,Are you using cut vests too? Hell sometimes they get cut even wearing them.

dogs vs wild boars??? I have never heard, but back where I come from, those big males are hella dangerous, they can rip your stomach open clean with one swing of their heads. These boars were shot!!!

We relocate many of the boars alive, So it can be dangerous, We have the dogs wear Kevlar material vests and a 4" inch wide Cut Collar for Protection.

I remember my granpa,hunter with a Mauser 8mm derivative, two trigger sniper rifle, telling me how they had an accident one, hunting wild boars. His colleague had missed, and the boar was chasing him around trees, while he was yelling for others to shoot the animal. Luckily they shot it,but also I remeber huim saying they are the harest game to kill, as their hides redirect even the heaviest of calibers. Good dogs, and skill nevertheless.
