@daltonauto Its tortoiseshell, also, unless you are getting it very cheap its not worth it. Much better to buy one of the Squier vintage modified series basses, they are a lot better than these MIM fenders.

@daltonauto It does ultimately come down to that, whatever feels/sounds better to you is always what you should go for, no matter what others say, also just wait until youve played that MIM a while and the sort of matte feel on the neck fades into a nice work shiny silky smooth neck, it feels so good to play :)

@karlocrozg Hmm, i would say cant stop is pretty easy, or at least not difficult, the hardest i would probably say C'mon Girl, its not that its hard it just kills your hand to play, hardest when it comes to technique and everything like that then it might be another, i cant really think which at the moment, but maybe pretty little diddy

@TheAwesomemeister oh god tell me about it! when i first started to slap it happened to me loads, i would suggest you line your finger up with the sting in parallel way not a diagonal, and keep the slapping surface small, appart from that just try repeatedly slapping on each string over and over until you get a good sound without hitting the other strings then you will sort of find the way that works for you :)

@foofightersfan14 these are the standard mexican pickups, try turning all the knobs on full and turning down the bass on your amp and raising the mids a bit :P
