  • proud to have gone to this school and be in the before Katrina. Purple Knights forever

  • The New York Yankees of Marching Bands-St. Augustine Marcing 100

  • St. Aug is the best band EVER!!!!

My baby graduated from their 09'

  • DATS MY BIG BROS MARCHING OUT THERE

  • look at that dmajor on the end steppin!!

  • Very good fast break @ 2:49.

  • RIP. MR HAMP JOB WELL DONE

  • rip to mr. hamp u will be missed

  • st.aug will neva be the same again after katrina but one day they will come bac !!PURPLE KINGHTS 4 LIFE!!!

  • New Orleans is in my heart, not this New orleans with all the killings, but the New Orleans from back in the day. You know back in the day with Prep and st mary's dances, the 35 talent show, and the Def Jam concerts that use to come to the municipal auditorium. Lets pray that the worst of us will stop ruining for the best of us and we then move forward together

  • nothing was like New Orleans back in the day. Kennedy, F-troop, 35, John Mac 82-85, walker, Reed, Carver, and Purple. .

  • 7th ward souljas LOL!!!!

  • ST.AUG will rise to the top again in due time.

  • AMEN!!!!!

  • Does any1 know where i can find a vid where the band is goin purple purple purple would appreciate it cause that shit goes hard

  • we always gone be the best

  • St. Aug definitely holds it down for New Orleans, ya heard.

  • I truly understand the passion for the Purple Knights (Former cheerleader) wife and mother of a purple knights and daughter who is a cheerleader. This St. Aug. family keeps is real. No boasting and bad language on the internet. That is not how we were raised. We know who the best band is and who the best school is. We carry ourselves much higher to stoop so low. Go Big Purple.

  • Cashatticxxx first of all I dont believe you go/went/or even seen this band in person.the way you talk doesnt even match the way that someone from new orleans or st aug would speak. if you do go to st aug i wish i knew who you were cuz you've managed to disgrace everything that mr. hamp and everyone who has every marched in that band worked hard for. keep stupid shit like to yourself man. even after katrina this band still doing it big. im not sayin they the best but definitely a strong force

  • shut up after the hurricane THEY SOUND HOrrible....if u listen closely to the videos people tapped ST.aug will never be the same...so keep stupid shit like that to yourself

  • wtf do you know about music. the only band and i repeat only band that had better music quality that st aug this pass year was warren easton. 35 was what and what with st aug because they were too inconsistant. as far as walker they still stuck in that public school mentality that louder is better. With the exceptions of easton and 35 st aug is still a top force

  • You know Easton's band director was Aug's assistant band director. That may have something to do with it. He must really miss Aug because they are taking on too many of Aug's characteristics. Aug, often imitated, never duplicated. Aug has been a dominating force since it's beginning in the 50's. A lot of people hate that fact.

  • oooo my skool's football team played easton, it was the ONLY game we won. but... their band killed ours

  • Yes he was, but what a lot of people fail to realize is the fact that Warren Easton High School is THE oldest and 1st public high school in the city of New Orleans. So therefore how an you compare or even suggest the fact that W.E. are taking on characteristics of St.Aug. If you are refuring to the uniforms, they were donated so we had nothing to do with the design.

  • Warren Easton did not even ALLOW BLACKS to go to their school so please don't tell me about how it is the OLDEST public school as if that really means something...Stop bragging about the white man's racism...blacks weren't allowed at Easton until the 1970's!!! And after the whites left the school, the hispanics had it on lock for the longest...Warren Easton is taking on characteristics of St. Aug because the Director is an AUG ALUM and the EX assistant director of Aug's band...duh.

  • saw them at orpheus tonight for mardi gras, they were awesome!

  • Im asking all band alum to send $58 a month to the music department, better yet bring it over there your self. Just think how far along we would be with you help. I am an alum just like you, I hold no position with in the music department, but we can do more. Show Hamp how much you love him while he is living. This is a real section challenge.

  • ♫♪♫♪♫♫♪♫♪♫♫♪♫♪♫♫♪

  • Aug will ALWAYS be the Marching 100 whether they have more or less than 100 members..the band is coming back very strong..they still give a very good field show, most bands here can play but they can't march and play on field..something Aug always manages to do...precision drill at it's finest.

  • I go to St Aug of New Orleans the band thas on the video

well we was good back than but not no mo

we got like 80 people now we aint the marchin 100 no mo
