This thing sucks, I have it and it's terrible, if you don't take a picture after like 4 seconds of the screen being on stand-by on, then it goes black. Horrible Camera.

I have this camera

well HAD!

I took it in the water after checking all seals& everything (:

Had it in there for about 20 minutes & was working fine

Then suddenly it said CARD COVER OPEN!!! on the screen in big letters &

It wasnt even open, & water had gotten all in where the battery & sd Card are placed

TOTALLY FUCKED it !! man i was so fucking angry!

ok i have this camera n after you use it in clhorine, saltwater, dirty water n whatever kind of water you put it in it says to rinse it in the sink for about 10 to 12 minutes.

You shouldn't use it in the ocean because the salt can effect it badly. It was designed for pools or freshwater.

olympus shutter won't close lens does not want to close. Battery is fully charged. Wont allow to take pictures but can still view pictures... Help me plz :p

as soon i i said it was drop proof i puased the video and tested it :D .....then i played the video.. he said until 5 feet then i realize my camera was cracked isnt that nice -_-

Just an advise, try it and if you dont like the image quality, send it back right away.

I actually have one of these, but the image quality is so low, not to mention the video quality.

It has some really good features, but bottom line, I would get something else.

i personally have a 850sw and my only complaint is the audio seems to change alot if your talking behind the camera but other then that it is a awsome camera might have gotten the 1050 if i had know about the tap control but i love my 850sw and its worth the price when the future shop guy tells you "if you can brake it we will replace it. ahhhhh, wheres that bucket of water?
