Have you noticed that Superior Drummer is missing the cymbal build ups? there are only cymbal chokes...I cannot find any.

No drum sampling software offers cymbal build ups, as long as you have a drum sampling software that supports different hit velocities of the cymbals then you just have to program the cymbal build up in your DAW by adding a ton of fast hits consecutively. Starting with the velocity at close to none, then gradually increasing the velocity until your satisfied with the cymbal build up.

I hope we're talking about the same kind of cymbal build up lol

hmmm, i kinda feel like you can easily simulate all the kits (except maybe 2 or 3) with eq and proecessing without getting metal foundry. :/

i thought it will completely sound different :O

only difference i think are the snares, they really sound better. but the rest, aw well, correct me please :O

Type in DAW in google, and youll see a WIKI about it.

If you imagine Windows is the O?S of a PC and your software works inside it right?

A DAW is the shell, and Superior Drummer (or other things like virtual synthesizers/pianos/effects units etc) work inside it. Without the DAW, the programs cant be used.

Hi, i install the superior drummer 2.21 and the first DVD from the metal foundry addon.

I can use the drumkit from the metal foundery, but i cant see the Metal foundery libraries or even see the superior libraries entry in my superior drummer...i only see my old grooves from the ez player .

why?

Have i to install the full 35 gb to see the superior libraries from the metal foundery.

can some one plz help me ...thx
