Hey! You downloaded this intermission clip from me! I recognize it from the closing credits (from the 1959 movie "Mania") at the very opening second, and the following ads, including the sprite commercial. I was the only one who had uploaded this one to youtube back around last summer (I took it out of one of my Sinister cinema tapes), but then youtube deleted my account, removing all the videos with it.
Man, I remember as a kid at the Bel-Air, Double, Sunset, and Twin drive-ins in Cicero, Chicago and Wheeling Illinois, (respectfully) seeing Father Time count down to Showtime. So cool. Thanks for posting this again.
You know you old when you recall Drive-In theater snack bars offering egg rolls. Thanks for the memories.
