  • i love him i can't believe he's the pepe le pew in the loony tunes show i love pepe le pew I'm his #1 fan

  • Janos Audron!

  • I never thought about looking for you here. I found this link at Wikipedia when I was reading about you and Boston Legal. It's too bad they didn't give that show another 2 years. I am also a Trekkie and used to watch you on DS9. Both these characters you played were stern and authoritative. I hope to see you back on TV soon.

  • @labartic i'll admit in the first season he wasnt great but after that, and especially in season 4 he became the character i most related too.

    he and i could've been bro's

  • It's really strange hearing his normal speaking voice versus his Odo voice.

It's also strange seeing him friendly, as opposed to Odo's rough and gruff exterior.

  • We don't have to dream that we're important.

  • wtf lmao

  • You are a precious man Rene!

  • so he did not wear any make up during the shoots

  • René voice of Odo is just like Robert Englund's voice of Freddy Krueger. :-)

  • Thanks Rene for seven fantastic seasons as Odo, and for teaching me how to pronounce your last name!

  • Never forget him on bensen.

  • It should be illegal to be so adorable. <3

  • I loved him as Odo... but he kinda reminds me of a Muppet. Just so lovable!!

  • He also played the preacher on the patriot with mel gibson.

  • that sucks his voice isnt really like that

  • One of the best characters on star trek

  • Wow! I had no idea his standard voice was so much higher ^_^

  • He is the voice actor for Mr. House in Fallout: New Vegas!

  • this guy is Mr House

  • Sorry Rene. I wasn't able to make it to the convention that weekend because I was beating a monkey.

I beat it, that monkey! I was BEATING IT!!!!

  • Is his surname pronounced Obejunwah?

    Goddamn french. =p

  • Grew up watching him on Benson--i could never wrap my head around the fact that Clayton was Odo! (i still think their 2 seperate guys dagnavit!) The man is very talented tho! (wished he was given more to do on Boston legal--but then again so did he!)

  • i think he has a cool last name.

  • @supertweed

His parents were french + franco-swiss, his grandpa, René Victor Auberjonois, was a famous swiss painter

  • I remember being shocked when I heard Rene's real voice. I had never seen anything else he did before Deep Space Nine and I figured his Odo voice was his real voice.

  • i think he has a cool last name, Auberjonois :)

  • Holy shit! =O

  • Lets not forget Clayton Endicott the third. Whatsmore Rene also played opposite Ethan Phillips every week in Benson.

  • so that's how you say his name

  • Tee hee ^_^ No cash Rene, no cash. . .

  • he has aged considerably LOL

  • "oh-BEAR-zhuhn-wah"! Finally I know how to say his last name.

  • lol, i never knew how to say it either...

  • OMG soooo awsome and he is just too cute

  • i wish i can rate this six stars. hi rene! :)

  • It's weird to hear his (calm) voice. Odo throat voice was awesome :)

  • i don't know who Odo is, but i've only heard him as Master Fung from Xiaolin Showdown.

  • Such a nice guy. He's got a nice website, too, aha. And now I FINALLY know how to pronounce his last name!!! Yay!!

I'll forever remember him as Odo.

  • This is pretty much exactly what I was going to say.

I didn't even realise he played the priest in M*A*S*H and he also had a in Frasier (I did realise him :] ).

  • He was Clayton Endicott III on benson

  • I lolled at your comment.

  • He also played Dr. Burton on Batman Forever - for those who want to know. . .

  • lol

  • He's a descendant from Caroline Bonaparte, sister of Napoleon

  • His voice!! XD I wish I could meet him. :/

  • Why isn't he arresting Quark?

  • lol

  • @saanichprince Already done. You don't see him behind the bar there do you? :-P

  • So strange. He's an awesome guy. I grew up with him on Star Trek, and then I find out he voices Janos Audron in Legacy of Kain. I never even knew it. o.0 That's talent.

  • rofl same!! XD*

  • He was also involved in the Savage Dragon cartoon. Cool guy that does a lot of stuff quietly.

  • aw, I wish they brought star trek conventions to my area :(. One time ONE TIME! Shatner and Nimoy were scheduled to arrive in a hotel near where I live, and they never showed up -_-

  • I've met him too, he was really pleasant in person. Glad I had the opportunity.

  • Haha, he's so cool. What an awesome guy. I'll always remember him from Star Trek, but then again in Legacy of Kain. Odo is Janos Audron. lol

    Dang he's got talent.

  • I remember him as the pompous Clayton Endicott from the sitcom Benson.

  • Ahhh! Odo's so sweet and Rene's so sweet!!!

  • He was also on Boston Legal for the better part of the series.

  • This is lovely

  • funny great-greatgrandnephew of Napoleon!!!
