So what kind of response does this cities police have. I am so glad this man was not found guilty, more states should recognize this.

If you have no better character than to break into someone's house then you absolutely deserve what happened to these two men who chose to violate someone's home, sanctity and peace. I agree that burglary should not be an executable crime, at least not by the state legal system, but if citizens take this action amidst knowing that this is happening then it's not only justified by correct. A free society must be allowed to protect itself. Police can't, and shouldn't.

It's completely understandable that this man is so upset, in seeking to protect his neighbour's property, that in the heat of the moment he turns his gun on the two guys.
