@qpoRmGoqp, IF you already deleted the connection from him, it's too late. However, IF you memorized his IP number, you can track him down, but I highly assume you never did that. If he left a trace of his identification on your computer, such as a website he owns, you can trace the website by going to command prompt and by typing "ping (the website)" and getting the physical address, and track his location and report it to somebody.

@xXDarKRun, Most of the established connections are not hackers. Most of them are just regular processes that are running programs or services on your system. If you are suspicious about one process, first go to task manager and memorize the name of the process. Then go to processlibrary. com and search for the name of the process. If it is indeed a malicious process, you can delete it by right clicking on the process, and by clicking on end process tree. However, DO NOT DELETE A WRONG PROCESS.

@Edsilvacunha not at all. This video is actually pretty inaccurate. It means that your computer has 3 connections established to the internet, perhaps Windows update or other background processes.

Even if you were "hacked" it wouldn't necessarily appear in that screen, nor would it necessarily be called "hacking". Hacking is a loose term used often to describe malicious behavior through the internet (such as breaking to someones PC). Not true, I could "hack" you and you'd never see it there.

@Edsilvacunha Afraid not friend. Unfortunately Windows (especially XP) is full of security holes that aren't logged anywhere when breeched. Keep in mind that "hacking" is a very loose term and could be used to describe a lot of actions. A perfect example of an un-logged vulnerability is the "Force-Guest" function used in all current Windows platforms. This can be a key into someones PC if used properly, remote viewing, telnet, networks shares, and more - no logs or visible records anywhere.

2) scan. move bad stuff to quarantine/take care of bad stuff.

3) CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD TO SOMETHING HARD TO GUESS. If you share you computer DO NOT let your browser save your passwords. They can be brought up, and viewed as to which password goes to which site. Write it down and hide that paper if needed.

4) don't give people any reason to think something is your password.

Hacking doesn't necessarily mean breaking into someones PC (although usually indicates some breech of security). On this basis, I am the super-hacker for being able to hack hackers. My PC establishes 5 connections on start-up, I know exactly what all 5 connections are, they are not hackers. Google is your friend. -Cheers mate.

Just because you have an "established" connection does not mean in any way that you have a hacker or multiple hackers. The shown command displays any active incomming and outgoing connections including those operated by system or network services. These are not hackers (in most cases) and should not be feared. If you think you've been hacked, Install/Update Antivirus AND Firewall.

Exactly, that was a mistake, I apoligize for it, in the beginning of the video, I clarified that you close ALL other programs prior to this, and unless you have closed ALL other programs, then it will show an established connection. In order for it to work properly, NO other programs must be running. Sorry for any confusion.
