I love this game. It was unique and super challenging. It came out in a time when it seemed like all of the sequels nintendo was releasing were drastically different from their predecessors. Maybe it's just nostalgia, but it's still one my favorite Zelda titles of all time.

When this game came out, I was 11 and this was my all-time favorite game. I was thinking, "man, they won't make a better game than this." Then a year later, another game comes out that would set the stage for a series of games that would have me hooked to them for life. A little game called, Final Fantasy.

@qix77 I think the Amiga was one of the most (if not the most) advanced systems soundwise of that era. Shadow of the Beast, Turrican, Test Drive 2, and countless others really show up consoles in sound quality, though I do still love the NES sound, as well as the other consoles.
