I'm Brazilian, and for me it'd be an honor to teach my language to others ^^

  • @LahBTrentini Could u help me? :DD i just wanna learn portuguese cause i think that is avery beautiful language,Thank u so mouch

  • Can someone please tell me if there is a difference between the alphabet of Portuguese spoken in Portugal and Brazil? Obrigado

  • @TrueNegro I'm wondering the same thing!

  • basically the difference is the accent. Some of the letters are pronounced differently in Brazil. Other than that it is equal. (I'm from Portugal)

  • @TrueNegro There´s no difference between the Brazilian and Portuguese alphabet, exepct when brazilians pronounce letters like l,m,n and r they add a little /i/ sound at the end of them. I hope it helped.

  • Well my first languages is spanish and well, I began taking french around 14, and just begun taking italian. I really don't think that learning one language first will make all other languages much easier, I think the difficulty really depends on your native language. I love learning languages italian for me is probably the easiest and french the hardest portuguese is in the middle. There all romance languages and the most beutiful in the world in my opinion.

  • Olá pro DouglasAta1......eu posso ajuda te com teu inglês.....e você pode ajuda me melhor meu português apenas envia me uma mensagem ta bom

  • Hello, If someone wants to learn/practise Portuguese, send me a message so we can talk by msn. I'm Brazilian and I need a native English speaker to practise my English. And also I like to meet people from other countries and coultures. I'll be waiting for the message. Até mais!

  • The voice it's kind of freaky lol, but i love the video very good beginning.

  • Very good!

  • this is my level of portugese abcdefg

  • @TeacherPhilEnglish This is a great begining, my friend. If you learn Portuguese, you can understand Spanish and Italian very easy. When I was little I only spoke Greek. Then I got to learn Portuguese because of my mother. I can't write like a Spanish or Italian native, but I can understand everything they say without never have studied those languages before. Just because of Portuguese. :)

  • @TeacherPhilEnglish then you should consider spanish, its easier and more useful. Spanish has only a few vowels and they always sound the same but portuguese is pain in the ass with all those weird sounds. Spanish is spoken by much more people and its the second language with the most native speakers in the world.

If you know spanish you will also understand portuguese and italian without studying them.

  • @deryck7j7 Sorry mate u r completely wrong, u can not understand portuguese if u only speak spanish, u will know what subject the person is at but u will not be able to have the full understand of it all however by speaking spanish u will make the portuguese learning process 80% easier. that said if u learn Portuguese first and then spanish then your learning process will be easier by about 85% because portuguese is much more complex and having that understanding will increase ur knowledge!

  • @tiagocanha

"u r completely wrong, u can not understand portuguese if u only speak spanish". Hard to assume considering both are Latin languages which makes them very similar languages."by speaking spanish u will make the portuguese learning process 80% easier". What is the theoretical source to assume such percentage? "your learning process will be easier by about 85% because portuguese is much more complex" People differ in how to respond a language so their learning process is relative.

  • @kakosuranosx No way iam going to spend my time explaining why, if you spoke many languages then you would understand it better. So your philosophy is every language generated from Latin you can understand? r u really saying that because i want to call you names if so.The percentage is to illustrate the differences between learning Portuguese first and then Spanish which is easier this way for everybody. The harder the language the better understanding you will have to learn an easier language

  • @kakosuranosx I assume you understand Latvian as well and because you understand Latvian you also understand Polish because Latvian is most originated from Polish later modified with a bit of Latin.

I can go on, you know how many languages have Latin as thier origin? lol

  • @tiagocanha I made my comment based on my experience with both languages. Being spanish my native language, I could understand almost everything in portuguese. After I studied some basic things about portuguese I am able to fully understand the language. Of course I can't speak or write correctly but my understanding of the language is what I was talking about with my previous comment.

  • @deryck7j There was a miss understanding then because i thought you were assuming that by learning Spanish first it would benefit you more in order to speak other languages which is not the case here, because of Portuguese being one of the hardest languages this would benefit people who would like to learn any other language after Portuguese, What i tried to say was: Learn Portuguese first, then you will easily learn Spanish, Italin, French and even some modified African languages...

  • Parabéns pelo video! Sou Rafael do Rio de Janeiro - Brasil

    Kosta.

  • Kalooooo!

  • cool video! :P

  • All the words from Portogalika came from the arxaia ellhnikh glossa.

  • @adonis4176

    what is that?

  • @redg18

    Hi there!

He says all the words from Portuguese came from the Ancient Greek. Well, that's not so true, but it has sense. Let's say 50% of the portuguese words came from greek and 60 came from Latin. The other pecentage may include Italian, Spanish, German, American English, British English, French, Japanese and Indian dialects. It's a very rich and interesting language. That means if you learn this language you can easily understand the other ones too.
