  • Awesome! I was just wondering if these tomatoes are good for canning (high acid content) - to use for Italian/Mexican recipes? Thanks for all your wonderful tips!!!

  • haha nice ending ,,

  • sure thats a tomato ? looks like a genetically modified pumpkin !

  • wow !!!! that was some tomato,well done :)

  • All right it next year! Le's see what you got girl. The tomatoes looked real good!

  • 4 pound of tomatoes on cluster! Pretty awsome!

  • Remember to keep the seeds from the biggest one of the crop if that's your goal. or tastiest one if flavor is your goal also. i have a few Brandy wine tomatoes heirloom ready for next year.

  • haha, I found out that if you a little bit over water your tomato a day before you cut them, you will gains atless 10%.

  • That man in the store look somewhat shocked and baffled! hehe "strange chocolate lady want me to my weigh her tomato's" ! lol

  • should have given that lovely man a tomato right.

  • Too bad you didn't *win* but what a FUN video! Nicely done, and holy cow... AMAZING tomatoes.

  • You made bad wire mesh cages. The mesh should be more like a concrete wire mesh with at least 5' x 5' holes so you can fit your hands through to pick the fruit. But you seem to be doing something right at least.

  • Great video. Beautiful tomatoes! Makes me miss gardening.

  • start up again. its never to late.

  • If you cut out some of vertical sections of wire, you can reach through to get your tomatoes. Ok...maybe not THAT tomato, but you get my drift!

    Awesome!

  • Your a magic artist in gardening.that tomato looks delicious, none of mine grew this year....: (.........why?

  • Wow! I would love to grow tomatos that large!

  • did you clone and/or keep the seed I hope

  • AWESOME!!!! Grow Food NOT Grass!!!!

  • what sort of grass haha

  • whats the name of that tomatoe? I would love to try it out in one of my earthboxes.

  • These were Tiffen Menonite

  • thats huge you use compost tea

  • I got some tomaters 2 garden girls.

what do you think of urine as a fertilizer, specially 4 N2 hungray corn plants?

Long as u spread it around it shuldnt be a problem.

I been burying my cat litter for a week since i got a new place and plan on grown over it later.

animal and human waste kan be good fertilizer!

  • urine is great as long as its watered down to roughly 1 part urine to about 4 parts water and make sure you P.h. balance the urine/water mix to the P.h. level your plant of choice prefers :D

  • I been pissen in my garden and I think it helps.

The plants I grew on top of the cat litter/crap all died as soon as I shoved them in the grownd.

I think im gonna try the compost tee that garden girls is always yammerin on about

  • lol wtf thats just wrong dude

  • Congrats!!! How long did it take to grow them?

  • What a tomato! And... all of them together are almost 4 lbs. Congrats! Very close to a record tomato.... they look delicious! -- Judy

  • Holy MOLEY!

Tell us how they taste - taste is everything!

Size matters (no pun intended) in tomatoes only when slicing for burgers... otherwise it is taste, smell, texture for killer tomatos.

  • I had my fingers crossed it would've been a record. Regardless, it's a beauty.

  • Holy cow! What a tomato!

  • Impressive!

  • that's awesome!
