This is a brilliant concept with a lot of potential. Optimising per condition aerodynamics. Flexible looks. Easier repairing. Decreased weight and usage of chemicals and metals. And so on and so on...

I think "everyone" who likes BMW's are the people who have driven them. They are just really, really nice cars. Do I drive a BMW? No, I drive an Infiniti. BMW true cost of ownership is too much IMHO for a car. To each their own, they are awesome cars. I would be surprised by all the BMW hate if I didn't witness people my whole life crying about what is fair and "Why does he get one if I don't" types of mentality.
