I was at this game. The fact that the refs didn't call that guy for traveling in the corner still baffles me to this day. That was the most shocking ending to any sporting event I've ever seen in person or on TV...and it ruined UMKC's season and probably program ever since then.

Ha I was at this game. I sat 3 rows back from the bottom left. If the the score bar wasn't there you'd be able to see me. I can still remember the sound that last shot made at the end of the game....

Actually, TotheXtreme21 is right....he definitely traveled....he established his left foot as his pivot foot first, brought his right foot back, then lifted his left "pivot" foot, then moves both feet as #25 plays tighter defense....watch his feet closely, it's OBVIOUS.....

I covered UMKC for the University newspaper...so I saw this live from courtside. It was ridiculous (and illegitimate...he traveled on the three from the corner) but still amazing to watch. Ruined our season cause otherwise we would have been a number one seed at the tournament. Frikkin' A.
