really, it does not matter what software / hardware you use, you need to know what and how to do....talent matters man, the rest is all extras..btw, its a simple but nice set up..
Bro I respect Garageband great fully. You might not be able to have the expandability or exact precision with the program but I believe its not the vastness of your software that makes it a worthwhile song, it's whose mind is behind the music. Anyone can make a song but what makes it a good song is what you put into it.
do you plug your Microkorg straight through the instrument jack in the breakout cable? how does it sound with synth throught it? also, when recording two tracks at once, do they come out as seperate mono tracks? (like if i record acoustic guitar with a soundhole mic, and a fretboard mic at the same time, will i get two tracks?)
i plug my micro korg with a duet too. but i use TRS Cables it is not giving me good sound quality and there is a buzz with my music and its soft. and when i turn it loud it sounds horrible. how do you make it have good sound quality. I'm really upset. Do the headphones your put in the duet process the sound
I personally think that garageband is a great program for people that just want to get stuff done or are starting out with recording and mixing. I respect a musician that uses instruments (software) on their level. Thats like a guitar noob buying a les paul, its just not cool.
@HDaviator I've used many types of software including mixcraft, cakewalk, fl studio and pro tools. I dont only use software instruments, as I mainly play guitar and synthesizer/piano. I have many guitars around and I'm making more guitar vids so check them out.
I don't need to quit crying. I have 4x24 HD A/D interface running into protools, CB5 and reason on my WINDOWS platform that will outperform any Mac Pro on the market, guaranteed.
@dangerale Windows can be good with great hardware, I used windows for recording before I switched to mac. I've also used protools as well as other software. I don't want to get into a mac vs pc argument.
i have the same mouse

Sorry buddy, Windows(and Ubuntu) are amazing for recording, and FL studio is more expansive and useful than garage band.

JSprayaEntertainment 1 year ago
@JSprayaEntertainment 2gb of ram is fast enough for what I use, I'm considering upgrading to 4gbs soon but I'm only upgrading just because I can.
