Hey Brian, Great videos and demos. I have just ordered anoth 14 megapnaels (now 20 in total) to use as uplighting. When you get to a 'U-shaped' room (there is a bar at the top of the room) how do you connect the top right to the top left fixture? do you use wireless dmx?

Also, have you ever been asked for a 'table wash' effect? any ideas on this?

PS wish the megapanels had the male/female power inputs like the megabars

these kind of lights seem like theyre great for gigs where you cant use fog where as some of the other lights that you've done reviews on only look good with fog.

hhhmmm on some of the shots it looks like the green and blue LEDs are not all working, if you look at the bottom left on the light. Try turning all RGB on and just test as im sure i spotted it.

I don't know when you bought your lights and who makes them, but I'm pretty sure ADJ comes with a warranty for a few years. 3 or 2 year, can't remember. You can probably get them repaired or replaced. It's probably just a solder that came loose

I know exactly what you mean though a part of the patten is the panel dividing up into squares it starts with the whole panel on but one bottom corner so yes initially it looks like that for a few seconds....hope that helps jason

Its DJ D Rev again. Well the sun ray LED DMX is a colored version star ball and for the up lighting project can't use you color spash Jr's or your regular par cans.

It figures, just as I get new lights, it seems like the market is slowly moving away from the "dot" lights.

Some of the lights I'd love to get are the one in this video, some Chauvet Colorbanks, and the X-Scans. That's my goal anyway, and only use the "dot" lights as an effect.

Yeah, they look like the same LED's. I think they would certainly work well with each other.

You would truss up 3 bars, horizontally with the 2 panels in the spaces between the bars.

That would look pretty neat, especially if you then hung 2 bars vertically at each end!

The patterns are just a bonus. I felt it was cool to light up the dance floor with a fixture that's intiresting to look at as well.

You CAN look at it, Mark. I just wouldn't recomend that you look at it straight on. That's where it's brightest. Kind of like car headlights. Alteratly, you could dim it with a DMX controller as well

aww I've been trying to find him a good home for a month. My Girlfriend's niece bought him only to find out she can't have dogs where she rents (not too bright). So, he's been at my place in the city for 4 weeks now while we have tried to find a good home for him. He gets along with everyone there just fine (GF's kids, dogs, etc) but is having a hard time adjusting to everyone here.
