  • This is a Prayer/Poem in the form of Mathnavi and can be chanted in any of persian music "Dastgahs" which include a Mathnavi "Goosheh". Traditionally it is chanted in "Afshri" or "Bayate Tork".

  • Allah'U'Abha!

Thank you very much! So uplifting!

  • What a heavenly voice.

  • Thanks for your prompt reply, dear friend :) I hope some day soon it will be translated into English and Mongolian :) If you don't mind to answer, what is this prayer about /for? I love it, but it would be very good to know the meaning of the prayer :)

    With loving Bahai greetings,

    Eenee

  • @Eeneemon I think the meaning goes something like this:O God, Who art aware of the secrets of my heart, thou art my Friend at the break of every dawn, thou art aware of all my pain and sorrows. A soul that is engaged in your glorification, seeks no secrets but Thine long suffering. The eye that is not crying out to you must be blind. Don’t look at our doings, nay rather look at your greatness and generosity. Grant thou new wings to this broken-wing bird.

  • Allah'U'Abha, Dear friends,

Could you tell me what prayer is this, please?

    a Bahai from Mongolia

  • @Eeneemon

    Allah'u'Abha my dear friend,

This is a Persian prayer by `Abdu'l-Bahá
