After listening to the Labour party since the election i have decided that they have no plan. Labour can't continue to get outraged at the coalition without putting forwards alternatives. Correct me if i'm wrong but thats my opinion

@kanenkitten if you think that history is so important, then maybe you should advocate a return to serfdom because that's pretty old. You don't need to fear change, because the end of serfdom, universal adult suffrage, the creation of the welfare state and the NHS all changed society a lot and although people were concerned at first, (as you are) it improved. People will look back (as many have already noticed) at how stupid our traditions have been.
They're not genetically inferior you nazi, they're different, diversity is not bad it's good, and anyway you who claim to be the pure British are mixed from Europeans anyway who immigrated years ago. @truthhitmanisback that pressure really comes from the fact that the people who have jobs pressure the government into cutting unemployment so they can pay less tax out in benefits. @HervProm3theus Yeah I do appreciate the view that people will "sponge" on benefits to an extent (for want of a better word) but I don't think it's the majority of people that fall into that category and the issue goes beyond assigning blame to the unemployed. @xxouttamyheadxx09 Well the global equivalent currency is dollars. Will you get time to check an idea like none you have ever seen or will you stick with the other failed ideas of the past?
Gordon & his party are a bunch of ****s, they've dragged us in to two wars and are largely to blame for all of the death of our troops & innocent people in Afghan & Iraq. They've allowed our country to fall in to recession, lost millions of us our homes & jobs. They bailed out the banks then paid the bankers a bonus with our tax money.
He opened the doors to Europe & swamped our culture with everyone else.
He sold our gold reserves for next to nothing & he's never been elected, he's a disgrace
According to a recent survey commissioned by the Joseph Rowntree Trust; 68% of English people want an English parliament.
Gordon Brown signed the Scottish Claim of Right and called vocally for the establishment of the Scottish Parliament. Why is it he denies the English similar recognition and representation?
Why is it that Gordon Brown can't even say the word England? Even when talking exclusively about English issues?
Gordon brown and labour must remain in power. Remember Mr.Brown became PM after that grinning idiot Mr.Blair led britain into the mess were in. Mr.Brown must be given the chance to clean up. We do not want or need Cameron the clown and the Coco party leading britain, they will bury Britain for good.
Well he has already proved he is a 2 faced, horrible creepy liar. Why should we believe anything that comes out of your mouth Brown? Maybe Gorden you should have a rest, quit being an mp, because i think soon you'll probably drop dead with a heart attack if you keep this up.
oh good, another referendum promise. Just like the EU constitution? The Lisbon treaty?
Why, Mr Prime Minister (for now) are the public finances so secret? Opposition parties and independent researchers cannot access sufficient data to even put together an alternative budget, let alone make detailed analysis of current proposals. How do you, or any party, justify taxing us as highly as you do without even letting us see where our money is being spent?
Public cause - He runs a mile if he sees an ordinary voter and when a stage managed meetiing is arranged he smiles to their face but behind their backs he shows his true colours fake smile false promises
Do not vote, It only encourages them. Instead look into the ideas of the Venus project. The only tangible way to a better future beyond politics, poverty and war.
Remember that none are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.
@fibbsabaddy This utopian view has one simple flaw in it's theory, human nature. If all were equal there would still be greed - one person would say to another "give me your share and I will gain more and give that to you" therefore in that instance one person is richer than all the rest, result - failure.
@slovenedisco The definition of human nature from wicki is 'Human nature is the concept that there is a set of inherent distinguishing characteristics, including ways of thinking, feeling and acting, that humans tend to have'. Is everyone greedy, selfish and violent or is that reinforced by an abhorrent environment? You obviously visited the website, glanced and di not invest any time into looking properly into it. Please try watching zeitgeist addendum. It deals with the point you raise.
@fibbsabaddy Sorry to disappoint but I did not visit wicki, if I had I can assure you that I would have read the entire article. Whatever PC definition the website gave you it is a built in response for all humans to out do others and to succeed - thus greed in the modern world. Utopian socialsit type views are great as an overall target but can never be achieved on a global/country scale only with all participants agreement does such an idea work.
@slovenedisco The outdoing of others is perpetuated by a monetary system that was created for a good purpose 5000 years or more ago but it is old now and holding us back. We see these patterns because of scarcity promotion, planned obsolescence and profit at all costs. Are you familiar with the term technological unemployment or technological singularity? These are the biggest time bombs for humanity and no-one even knows it. Wicki wont do it I am afraid. Try watching zeitgeist addedum. Thanks.
I'm sorry but this just makes me mad. As far back as 1997 Labour were promising reform of the electoral system and of the unrepresentative, undemocratic House of Lords. Nothing has happened for 13 years. And I'm supposed to believe you now?
You know, I'm not really bothered about Brown saying someone's a bigot. I'd rather he were honest, even if I don't like it. Trouble is, that insult feels like the most honest thing he's said for a while.
uk is now a 2nd world country. These glogal village new world lizards dont give afu%&%&K until its all sold off and they have left the country for their giant estates in paradise.
You did us a real public service by selling off our gold reserves at rock bottom prices. Of course you never did that to make your balance sheet look healthier in the short term did you gordo? It was public service to sell off the family jewels for some magic beans!
For the love of god why don't you give us referendums on things that matter? Like the Lisbon treaty or EU membership as a hole?
On behalf of the British people...
I am sorry Mister Brown if we are too stupid to decide such things but why have we been ignored and treated like fools when it comes to the big issues? Is it because we are too stupid? If thats what you think then I really think your a BIGOT!
yes migration is helping the UK but its also messing it up, only ppl with papers with proper channels should be aloud in or they will be on the street begging or worse in criminal gangs! Only good hard working ppl with papers or the unemployment will reach 5 million, and 99% of them will be immigrants. Gordon brown will be remembered like Maggie thatcher, as someone who messed up the UK with his laxed policies on banking, migration and civil servant expenses.
He never does, if he ment anything he says they wouldn't have to clean up the system, he is the PM he has been for 4 years! if he really was gonna do this he has had 4 freaking years to implement this, why has he not done it yet? His supports go on about this country is not broken its fine, lol walk around the streets of London you fugly oath, almost every homeless big issue seller is now an immigrant,
Stop allowing Scottish MP to vote on matters that dont affect their constituency, Like the way Scottish MPs can vote only laws that only effect England or Wales . That is un-democratic and morally WRONG
@JamesCunny - Gordon Brown was asked about the voting system and not immigration and not the economy. So why all the abuse? It seems you've just slated Brown for the sheer heck of it without applying any rational thought to the fact he wasn't asked a question about immigration and the economy!
Keep the system the way it is! A more proportional system gives parties like the BNP a real voice, or at the very least a voice that is harder to ignore. With all this talk of the damaging impact of hung parliament, why would people want a more proportional system. Strong government, not a divided and fragmented talking shop!!
@rightfredsdead i agree i just hope other ppl can see it i know browns not perfect but he has had a lot of bad luck at the time he came in and i would hate it if the torys came to power. i live in a consevative constituency and its a certain theyll get in but still :(
a referendum my arse you will liar, wasting time on useless crap instead of focusing on economy, immigrantion etc mind you it would be better if you stayed away from them.
New Labour are full of armchair facist cunts who want us to have ID cards and an national data base so they can follow us around the country. They have done more to inhibit civil rights then any other government in the past 100 years. They are a more Orwellian version of the Tories. They even have an unelected lord in their front bench. The sooner they fuck off the better. Fucking useless cunts. Vote Green.
You with the help of you circus puppets and notwork rail have put 200+ railway workers on the dole, i have gone from a hard working team player in a specialist role, to sitting at home watching the Jeremy kyle ( scum that your government have created) with no prospect of work because the country is bankrupt, created by you, as we have seen on tv, you are 2 faced and have a total disdane for the people of this land, no wonder the BNP are making gains, so
I and my collegues are going to make your life hell, even if you do not win the next election, your best option is to fook off back over the border with you cronies and we will get our boys and girls back from the war that you took us to, and we will rebuild Hadrians wall, Higher with deeper footings, razor wire, macine gun posts and sharks around the coast to keep your lot from ruining our country once and forall
FIRST PASS THE POST is only fair way thats why we have the NUMTY PARTYS taking over in Europe.you did this with Scottish and Welsh devolution now we are a divided nation with flag wavers crawling out of every stone .The Labour Party(do you remember them) had to fight all the way until we got a SOCIALIST PARTY in 1945.
dont let the media make u beleave gordon brown is bad he is from a working class bk ground un like camron who doesent want to make the rich pay higher tax wonder why these RICH media outlets such as the SUN ..SKY NEWS...an others are out to distroy gordon brown with a passion......VOTE LABOUR IF YOUR WORKING CLASS.
@ruudski 'Vote Labour if you are working class' and have no aspirations to better yourself! However if you strive to be better then a Conservative government encourages you to do better and if you are really lucky after 30 years of hard work you've earnt a Million then why should the government take it all away to give to those 'working class' who just flounder around!
Don't think that I will bother voting until I find government that both listens and represents its' people. A government not driven by those with money or the greed of individuals as well as one that understands the meaning of freedom and privacy. I've had enough of political games. Oh who else feels a revolution coming on? No? Ah well one day.
Im not going to vote for one these liars on May 6th in my region. I ripped up my voting card and threw it away! Im not voting and I havent voted now for 10 years and Im not about to, with all this bullshit new change.
The more things change. The more they stay the same.
I just flagged the video as (Mass Bullshit Advertising!) Gordon Brown is a spammer!
Gordon Brown looks like fucking bloodhound thats been kicked in the bollocks!
A referendum on the House Of Lords which was not broken untill Labour started fiddling with it when we don@t get a referendum on Europe which is a far bigger issue, Oh no just rail-road that one through!!
The problem, to me, is professionalisation. I find it hard to trust any career politician - but aren't all politicians today career politicians? The system is so complex, they have to be, no? Jean Dubuffet wrote: "A professional artist, like a professional lover or gambler, is something of a fraud" - and don't we feel turned off by any social-skilled practice that becomes an industry? It all gets too slick, glib, and well-oiled...
Yesterdays incident with the rank and file labour activist and supporter shows exactly the contempt that new liebour and the rest of the government think about the people on the recieving end of their mismanaged policies. God forbid we should have another term of these parasites, dump them and their ilk NOW.
lol 8anton... FPTP is a disgrace. Example: in perth in scotland the tories could conceivably win even though 68% of people vote for parties to the left. It just depends on how the vote is split between left parties, but still 68% of people voted against the tories and dont want them here, but they could easily win the seat.
come on people! evolutonary system like ours has worked for so many years, a and is still renoun as one of the best democracies in the world, why is it in need of this change! the system works!
The AV system is MORE disproportional to the current system, and would help Labour even more. That's the only reason he supports it. All that spiel about 'letting the public choose', christ!
Voting is an illusion to create the idea of choice. Anyone who thinks just one of these people is "running a country" is deluded. They are simply puppets, pawns in an elaborate game. If you want change, remove the banksters and secret sociaties behind the puppet.
Google: Builderberg Group etc or watch Endgame online by Alex Jones or Invisible Empire
The main reforms to the voting system so far seem to have been around amending constituency boundaries to favour more seats for Labour with fewer votes.
This man has a track record of promising referendums and then not delivering. Does he honestly think if he lies enough people will eventually believe him? He never sounds sincere, more like an passive aggressive dullard who seethes with the prospect that everyone knows him to be the utter sham that he truly is.
hehe, they think we're ALL thick. "we're not in it for ourselves...", has anyone heard about the multiple millions of pounds which usually follow a resignation of Priminstership? Search for info. on the recent fiasco concerning recently released details on Blair's multimillion pound windfalls from strange companies, immediately following his stepdown. Oh, I'm SUUUURE you politicians are not into screwing up the country via various means for your own benefit - sure thing Brown.
@MustNotRead He's obviously got to go overboard on some of his comments about morals, if he says anything slightly in the grey (a.k.a slightly human) he'll get pounched on. See your own comment for an example of this.
And as for Tony he did alot of good and if he managed to do some deals that lined his own pockets as well then fucking well done! Who would you have as PM? Would someone like Mother Teresa be selfless enough? Wake up.
i might sound naive and childish to you but, yes, it's actually my opinion that people ruling over others should be genuinely altruistic and not motivated by the benefits of shady backhanders.
but as you've perfectly demonstrated, even those in the public aware enough to realize the depth of a politician's long-term payoffs and true incentives simply shrug-off their corruption as "part of the game". so i guess there is absolutely no hope of change. :-)
@MustNotRead . it would be nice but I don't believe Altruism is sustainable in the West. (can't believe I'm embroiling myself in something on youtube.) The Dalai Lama is probably one of the most famous people who has managed to achieve it and as the man himself notes "politics itself is not dirty" but genrally the people are have got a bit of muck on their noses. fuck it all lets just all get drunk and on the dole.
After listening to the Labour party since the election i have decided that they have no plan. In a world where 1% of the world control 40% of the wealth, 50% earn less than 2 dollars a day, 60% have never used a phone, 100 million tons of waste is floating in the pacific and a 6th of the population is starving something is obvious, our political and social institutions do not work. We need a new approach. Watch 'zeitgeist addendum' online to find out the more.

We do not want or need Cameron the clown and the Coco party leading britain, they will bury Britain for good.

oh good, another referendum promise.

@fibbsabaddy This utopian view has one simple flaw in it's theory, human nature. If all were equal there would still be greed - one person would say to another "give me your share and I will gain more and give that to you" therefore in that instance one person is richer than all the rest, result - failure.
slovenedisco 1 year ago
@slovenedisco The definition of human nature from wicki is 'Human nature is the concept that there is a set of inherent distinguishing characteristics, including ways of thinking, feeling and acting, that humans tend to have'. Is everyone greedy, selfish and violent or is that reinforced by an abhorrent environment? You obviously visited the website, glanced and di not invest any time into looking properly into it. Please try watching zeitgeist addendum. It deals with the point you raise.
fibbsabaddy 1 year ago
@fibbsabaddy Sorry to disappoint but I did not visit wicki, if I had I can assure you that I would have read the entire article. Whatever PC definition the website gave you it is a built in response for all humans to out do others and to succeed - thus greed in the modern world. Utopian socialsit type views are great as an overall target but can never be achieved on a global/country scale only with all participants agreement does such an idea work.
slovenedisco 1 year ago
@slovenedisco The outdoing of others is perpetuated by a monetary system that was created for a good purpose 5000 years or more ago but it is old now and holding us back. We see these patterns because of scarcity promotion, planned obsolescence and profit at all costs. Are you familiar with the term technological unemployment or technological singularity? These are the biggest time bombs for humanity and no-one even knows it. Wicki wont do it I am afraid. Try watching zeitgeist addedum. Thanks.

Only good hard working ppl with papers or the unemployment will reach 5 million, and 99% of them will be immigrants. Gordon brown will be remembered like Maggie thatcher, as someone who messed up the UK with his laxed policies on banking, migration and civil servant expenses.

Keep the system the way it is! A more proportional system gives parties like the BNP a real voice, or at the very least a voice that is harder to ignore. With all this talk of the damaging impact of hung parliament, why would people want a more proportional system. Strong government, not a divided and fragmented talking shop!!

It just depends on how the vote is split between left parties, but still 68% of people voted against the tories and dont want them here, but they could easily win the seat.

i might sound naive and childish to you but, yes, it's actually my opinion that people ruling over others should be genuinely altruistic and not motivated by the benefits of shady backhanders.
but as you've perfectly demonstrated, even those in the public aware enough to realize the depth of a politician's long-term payoffs and true incentives simply shrug-off their corruption as "part of the game". so i guess there is absolutely no hope of change. :-)
