since when is a '97 a first gen? just because it's a 12 valve doesn't make it a first gen. cummins. I have a '93 w250 5spd with 80hp injectors custom 4" exhaust from the turbo back. turbo is matched to ats pulse flow exhaust manifold. she can really roll smoke. I made it custom by shortening the fram and putting a short box on and ram charger buckets. as well it sits on 36x13.50 toyo mt
Yes you can go wrong with this truck man I have a 1991 with the cummings and she has 180,000 miles on it and doesnt miss a step. The only promblem is you cant find performance upgrader. While can anyone tell where to get some upgrades.
I'm a bigger fan of the first gen Cummins, like dirtbikeracer is. Like he says, these are awesome truck and hard to find in any condition. I agree with him wholeheartedly. Anyone could kill for a first-gen truck like that
