I never said it was a peaceful verse, and there are less peaceful verses in the Quran. You know why? Because muslim believe their God is the right one, that's why they are the righteous people. And as I said, if you read the sura you refer to you can read that muslims are allowed to buy/sell to "people of the books" a.k.a the jews and the christians.
