highest ive ever got to was 32.9 mph according to speedo..that was on a 08 gt outpost with a buckled front wheel down quite a steep hill in top gear standing up with cars parked on both sides of the road, suprisingly though it wasnt that scary, how is 50mph for scariness? i reckon on my new bike with a whole extra gear and more str from the gym i can go faster
@FUCK202 Given the right conditions it is possible for people to go over 100. There are a few videos of people doing that and in one of them a guy wrecked at 107mph. I've reached 65 before but that's where I max out. I ride a 21 speed mountain bike with 26x2.10 tires. On a steep hill like this one it can really fly. When I shot this video I was doing without my highest gear so instead of hitting 60+ I could only reach 45-50.
ya but i get hella scared when its wet if ur on a road bike like mine, it doesn't stop too well in wet becuz it just skids at 50 mph then i'm fucked because i'm cliped into my pedals
I can only wonder how fast I could have gone if I had a 25 speed in this video I was using a 21 speed which basically became a 20 speed because my 7th gear on the back wasn't working.
If it was working there was a chance I could have reached between 55-60mph.
This was fast enough so that the wind drowned out all the sounds of my gears shifting and even some of my braking you can barely hear but in my shoes I could clearly hear the brakes squealing.
I was in my second highest gear because my highest wasn't working if it was I would have been really flying.
If I had a speedometer I'd know for sure but what I do know is my top flat ground speed is about 38 so that's how I estimate my downhill speed. But I'd really like a speedometer next time I pull this off.

I'd advise doing this stunt as less as possible because an accident at this speed could hurt you a lot worse than even a stunting accident.
Falling off at that speed is just like falling out of a car.

Probably 10 I wasn't willing to wear myself out before attacking this hill because I wanted to save my energy.
The whole trip that day was 33.1 and this was just the steepest hill on the trip.
