  • The Tony and Melfi impressions are spot-on.

  • I'm Italian and I don't speak it but my parents did. It's Capicola in the supermarket. Lots of languages have slang, dialects, and colloquialisms. I've heard it pronounced Capicole, Cabagool, Gabagole etc. It also comes in sweet or hot varieties. As with most deli meats, it's quite fatty and delicious. Doctors must hate it because of the saturated fat. You only live once! Have some Capicola once in a while in a nice Italian bread sandwich with all the fixins! Also called Cappy for short.

  • Their interpretation is incredible good.

  • Lmmfao

  • If you were a Sopranos fan, this is hysterical!

  • hahaha

  • GABAGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • It's actually capicola. It's kind of like pepperoni. Thinly sliced cured italian ham.

  • @DarkGallahad let me tell: it's "capicollo". you pronounce it ka-pee-ko-lo. i guess italian americans lost it through the years and turned into gabagool.

anyway: WHERE'S MY F***** GABAGOOL!?!?!?!? XDXDXDXD

    bye from italy..

  • Alright alright already! What do you gotta break mah bal-?

  • 'I got better things to do than sit around here yakkin about my MUDDAF............See you next week'

  • My parents bought gabagol after watching this and now they force me to eat it - _ -

  • Will Sasso did NOT make up the pronunciation "gabagool". That is how the gavonnes (cafoni) in Calabria and Sicily pronounce it. And "moolinyan" is properly spelled "moulignon".

  • @tedcito Yep. Have you noticed that almost every race seems to have a variant for someone other than their own race or for a black person? The dutch south africans it's Kaffir. Chinese it's gwailo for everyone not chinese. Italians moulignon. The list goes on.

  • "YOU SIT AROUND HERE ALL DAY, YACKIN ABOUT MY MUTHA-- See you next week." Classic.

  • INTO MY HOUSE.....?!! You just try...you bring that mothe...!!! GOD THIS IS SO GOOD!!!!!

  • FFFFFFFUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.......

  • Ridiculous how that guy looks like TS. You can't tell they're different at a glance.

  • good thing its not that edited on a&e then that would suck

  • whatda ya know whatda ya say

  • Holy shit. This upload is ancient. There're comment stretching back 3 years.

But yeah, this was the Golden Age of MadTV, back when all the cast members were bona fide comedians. This is probably the best scripted and executed skit of all time. OF ALL TIME!

Or maybe it's the Hey! It's Ovens For Kids! sketch. That's pretty good too. My god, those were the days.

  • It's Cappacola. The Italians in New York and New Jersey drop the ends of words. It ends up sounding like gabbaool and salcicc and mortadell etc.

  • @bullmoose1969 again...it's capocollo.

  • tell you what, why dont you stop breaking my ba***

  • OMFG HILARIOUS

  • Unfortunately, this syndicated Sopranos is real. It runs on A&E and is just re-dubbed for audio and blurred for video. For instance, in episode 1 where Christopher normally says "F*** Tony!", it's changed to "Forget Tony!". It's so lame!

  • hahahahaha

  • LOL at the end he's starring out the window

    "How the FU...."

  • MadTV is 100 times funnier than Saturday Night Live

  • not true at all. This is the only skit that is actually funny from MAD

    Snl is way fuckin better

  • @jmk1a1

SNL of today you mean. Because when SNL had like Chris Farley, Will Farrel, Chris Kattan, and all other funny people it was the shit! Not now though. -_-

  • @jmk1a1 You mean it "WAS" at one time or another. Before they were cancelled, I never saw more of a pathetic sketch comedy show in my life. They were literally "NEVER" funny after Debra Wilson left. Point blank.

  • gabbagol is an Italian kind of meat

  • LOL

    "I hate that fu-tch!"

  • What the hell is gabbagool?

  • an italian cold cut

  • cappicola

  • Where is the GABBAGOL? LOL!

  • O man! This cast was the BEST! Golden age of madtv right there!

  • " why don't yo u stop breaking my BAW---!!!!

  • Who ate all the mutha fuckin Mortadelle?Uhhhh?

  • Can't even look at ya.....hahahahahahahaha

  • Is that gandolifini and crew ? or a dude who looks like him.

  • will saso and mad tv cast

  • Get the --- outta hear!

  • hahahaha

    sooooo good... xD

  • i love this skit i never get tired of it

  • its a type of italien meat, kinda like proscuito or something like that its a deli meat for sandwiches

  • i always loved this skit, but always wondered what was gabbagol. anyone know what it is?

  • sure, gabbagol is actually capicoli; a thin sliced Italian ham. Not sure if Will Sasso came up with gabbagol, but probably!!

  • They say it in the series, napoli y'know.

    Dialect back there.

    They say it like that.

  • Thanks for the info!!

  • @bogmann no way..it's been pronounced that way in Italian family's & neighborhoods forever..and manicotti is MANIGUT!

  • @shaolinsoccer you're on the internet, just type it in.
