  • @mpw1984 It's not like he said that it was for the fragrant to be close to your nose or anything...

  • @mpw1984 : If you drink cocktails with a straw you are an idiot.

  • What the hell is this guy doing adding so crazy much ice.

  • nice vid

    thanks for the upload

  • in my own, personal, mojitos I use Sprite or 7up instead of Soda-Water. Doesn't water it down, only adds to the flavor.

  • Comment removed

  • its supposed to be cane sugar dude

  • I rather drink water, its free.

  • would you say this is a masculine drink?

  • @frobrofityfoe No, but it tastes fucking great

  • @frobrofityfoe I used to bartend and from my experience, it's neither masculine nor feminine. Only one type of man would feel uncomfortable drinking this; a man that is very insecure of his own sexuality. A drink is a drink, if you like it, drink it.

  • Great tips. Although, I am trying to watch sugar intake, so I use Stevia - 0 calorie sugar sub. Results are very similar.

I think secret to a great mojito is lotsa lime juice and lotsa mint.

  • dal ju tam, pozri si to dobre

  • tamnedal ani sodovku jezis to je baba

  • i could have about 20 of these right now.

  • you suck so much....

  • I am from Vladivostok, Far east of Russia. We do Mojito also, but another way. We put some lime parts to the bottom of highball glass of really big volume(15oz at least), mudl it, then put mint leaves. Personaly I mudl them really hard, but my boss told do it just a littel. Some my colleagues just clap mint between hands. Than we full glass with frappe, add simpl sirop, rum and water and steer well. What do you think about?

  • I bartend at a small beach bar in Sihanoukville, Cambodia and I make our mojitos much like this, except that add the mint into the lime juice with some crushed ice on top - then gently muddle it - this lets the ice release the oils from the mint without shredding it (no one wants to drink a salad). We use a house rum unless the customer wants to pay extra for Havana Club (which makes it taste so much better).

  • you my friend are an idiot. that is quite possibly the worst attempt i have ever seen in my life of a terrible drink! learn how to make a drink before you post it on youtube!

  • then just...beat the hell out of it!

  • @annswart Thats what she said

  • @annswart thats what she said

  • i want that exact drink right now

  • @13Geffen Yeah, is delicious, i'm drinking one right now. hihi

  • i want one!

  • in Cuba they dont use crushd ice and they use Havana club 3 anôs is this bartender crazy or what ?

  • this guy is insane? he didnt even know whats the history of the great El draque" or Mojito,,, dude your in newyork, how come you dont have an ice crusher?????!!! probably after 20yrs your finish, nice hair by the way!!! hahahaha

  • 'tiz interesting, no Boston shakes i haven't seen this method before but seems sweet. just don't know about the ripping the leaves in half.. but rimming the glass with the leaves is awesome but jus have to drink it without a straw. I like this method and an going to try it and i am guessing i will be pleasantly surprised because it looks mouth-watering.. churr

  • I'll really like to make my own bar, and me as the bartender hahaha, even if I'm terrible at serving drinks and preparing them, I'll feel comfortable behind a table adn bottles and stuff:B

  • fucking sexy:B

  • anyone else notice this guy has a terrible haircut lol?

  • krÅss_lÈútë_sûcht_mÀl_näch:_olikohle_àÜf_góÓglE_vóll_gËíl

  • from moscow to minsk isn't very far :)

  • @RusNad He meant from Melbourne to Moscow, to Maine lol

  • @RusNad you're right

  • @RusNad if you go east from moscow, and end up in minsk that way, it's a huge distance :)

  • @RusNad depends which way you travel ;)

  • i like this guy. Knows exactly what hes doing, explains things correctly and clearly, and doesnt do any douchebag tricks

  • one of the best and real mojitos to make or drink; half lime cut into 4 parts put in glass add 2 -3 teaspoons or cane sugar (depending on how sweet you like it) muddle this, add the mint on top of that next add crushed ice to the top fill almost all the way with Bacardi rum and then a splash or soda (or to add more lemon flavor to it use lemon soda) mix everything well to start dissolving the sugar and spread the juices. add 2 straws and you are set. i don't care if you like it or not just try!

  • how much lime did he say?

  • @guymelech one ounce. Which is about half a lime.

  • @armywife012205

    great, thank you

  • but brown sugar is better...?

  • Aren't you first supposed to muddle the lime (rinds and all) with the sugar, to get as much oil out of the lime skins? Or am I confusing this with the caipirinha?

  • @changtuber

That's how the Bacardi commercial/mainstream image shows it, but that is not recommended. The rind will make it bitter for the mojito and muddling limes with mint will bruise the mint too much adding more bitterness. However, muddling the lime rind will add the proper bitterness needed in a Caipirinha to balance the sweetness.

  • @sarsattacks OK thanks! Didn't realize mojitos were supposed to be so sweet. I guess I've developed a taste for more bitter-sour drinks, because I made my mojito the same way I make my caipirinhas and quite enjoyed it (I didn't bruise the mint, though) . I'll call it a mojirinha ;)

  • @changtuber

They're not supposed to be THAT sweet. The lime juice should balance the sweetness of the sugar, and the ice melt (from the crushed ice, which melts a lot easier) and soda water adds a bit of neutrality to it.

  • @sarsattacks Makes sense, thanks for the tips.

  • Is it wrong to shake it ?

  • wow, my bartending skills are very wrong according to this tutorial :D

  • u so fucking wrong dude... that must be taste like shit!

  • nice vid, thanks for tutorial

  • the cocktail culture is back, babeee! oh yeah! nothing makes a nice

mojito taste better than music. the right music. ck out this band that

is on the cutting edge of the resurgence of the cocktail culture.

    search cinnamon doll jazz

    enjoy!

  • i don't want to drink leaves

  • this is cuban style Mojito

  • jajajajaja me da risa ver a estos como hacen una simple vevida

  • I feel like sucking a cock.

  • Wrooong apleton rum has more of a brandy taste to it

  • 1:16 - 1:26

  • Hmm, he defo makes it a different way/uses different ingredients from what ive seen.

  • the best rum for the mojito is the original havana club anjeo 3 anos or anjeo blanco, no question about it... but it isn't availible in the us because it's a cuban product... and its the best ever

  • I picked up a rum recently called Santiago - made in the old Bacardi factory in Cuba.

I feel bad for you that you can't get it in the States either, but it's even better than the Havana 3, aged for four years and cheaper too.

  • this is definately not mojito .

  • that pre-made shit is DISGUSTING! only great bartenders use FRESH, REAL products and produce not that imitation shit. and the best rum to use is a jamaican rum with this drink. no, not malibu rum. it may taste good but not for this drink. i'm talking about appleton estate jamaican rum. THAT is the best rum to use when making this drink. trust me. but yes. everything else shown above is what to do.

  • แขกมากัน5คนพร้อมกัน ไม่ต้องกินแล้วค่ะ

  • Moscow to Minsk isn't that far.

  • I do it a bit differently:

    1. Take glass

    2. Add 6 small lime wedges and simple syrup

    3. Muddle the limes and syrup

    4. Fill 50% of glass with crushed ice

    5. Add mint leaves (just tap them a bit with your hands to release a bit of the flavour)

    6. Stir gently and pull upwards to get limes and mint leaves all around the glass and not just at the bottom

    7. Add rum and fill up with crushed ice, stir gently again

    8. Top with soda and add mint sprig

    9. Enjoy!

  • what the f*ck is he doin´ ? just shoot me but that´s completely wrong !!!

  • i hate this drink.. smell like shit!

  • that looks really good thats how i was taught and sound really delicious just started bartending so fun

  • i fucking hate the people that go 'nah man this is completely wrong', if its wrong please do us a favour and explain how you make it to perfection then? cause ive watched a lot of vids and this guy seems pretty right to me.

  • haha beat the hell out of it!

  • yeah completely wrong made

  • seriously? you can't mess up a mojito. well yeah you could by crushing the mint to much as the guy above said. but there is more than one way to make it. some make it in a shaker, others make it in the glass.

so, this is definitely not wrong

  • it's nearly completely wrong dick

  • Hi,

I am not sure how much ML ( or CL ) he uses. I think he uses 20 ML (2cl) and 40ml (4cl) or maybe he uses 10ml and 20ml.

I am just not sure xD

  • @dangerpatt an ounce is about 4cl. he used 2 ounces of rum which is about 8cl.

  • @dangerpatt doesn't really matter, as long as your proportions are correct: 1 part lime juice and 2 parts rum is fine. in the video he uses a jigger to measure the liquids. one part of the jigger is about 30mL liquid. so he used 30mL of lime juice and 60mL of rum.

  • fail mojito is fail

  • This guy sux

  • the only way to stir the mint into a mojito is with your cock. the chicks love it.

  • he made a rum salad, not a mochito :P

  • @NICKTHEGEEK01 and you spelled mojito wrong

  • Well done man. This recipe is right.

  • Cane sugar!!! You fucking ashole!!! Fucking bad, bad, bad! This is done differently as this clown shows...

  • you are making the mistake by making this drink very complicated dude !!

  • i can make it better than this guy lol

  • Probably means messing up the balance or the way the different liquids are sort of layered and if you were to stir it up too much it would be like a stew

  • what does it mean to "crush the carbonation"?

  • @jazzsushi The soda has carbonation (the bubbles or fizz) in it. If you stir the drink heavily, the carbonation (fizz) is released. Imagine opening a can of Coke or Pepsi, then letting it sit for 1 day. When you drink it after letting it sit for a long time, you'll notice that it doesn't have that "kick" that a freshly opened Coke Or Pepsi has.

  • I agree the bad comments are stupid. I made this and it is great. So any haters here are just plain ignorant and don't want to acknowledge a great recipe. Keep spreading the mojito gospel, Eben.

  • heaven forbid you "crush the carbonation" with your straw.

  • i really don't hope he uses that much time on every drink when he's at a club with alot of thirsty costumers...

  • Comment removed

  • Only a retard tear mintleaves in Mojito!!!!

    You dont bruise the mint!!!!

  • 1:21 hes given many a handjob in his time

  • I like to have a bit of solid undisolved sugar at the bottom, just a personal preference though. In cuba we were told repeatedly to "muddle" our mohito's with a straw after it was served, to release the mint - this way might be better, but i'd like to see you tell the cuban's they're doing it wrong.

  • Easiest and best drinke ever is a jager bomb.

  • @PBRMafia why even post?

  • he took to long

  • @b0ssChik817 Because he's explaining it dickhead

  • @red11ism Takes of hat*

    Respect.

  • @red11ism

    And Rachel Maddow.

  • @red11ism Once I drank too many mojitos one time, and I made love to a tennis shoe.

  • Very nice! I saw in lot of comments that people don't like this video. I can say we make it in the same way (with Havana 3yrs) on my place and it's perfect.

  • @Nyolan

Hi, Vienna Bartenders also uses Havana 3 Y.

  • Cheater ice? How the hell else do you make ice? I like these videos and all, but that's some pretentious shit. LOL

  • @ninjaswordtothehead: machine made ice tends to be malformed and melts faster, chilling (numbs tastebuds) and diluting (basic thermodynamics: at the freezing point, ice chills other liquids by absorbing energy and melting) drinks too much.

  • What the fuck--mountain out of a molehill much & still got the mojito wrong.

  • Hey dude, I think you're a bit wrong with that pretty drink...

  • love this drink it my no.1 drink :)

  • This was almost funny how complicated he makes it...

A normal bar has it's ready to use curshed ice. You also use limes that give a good look with a taste. There were just so many things that he did differently.

  • now i knw what to do next saturday :D

  • It's the perfect drink.

  • Great Drink!!! Heres My Version,, direct from Cuba!!

  • 1:22 -1:25 WTF?

  • That explains why my mojito is taking so long

  • 1:36 sexy mint haha!!!

  • 1:20 that was disturbing

  • i dont
