Mario made a good point. A gay man IS still a man, whose point of view is very different. I dislike the idea or having any man on that show--it suggests that a gay man is a comparable to a woman, and that's just not so.

I'm also a big fan of Mario. I waited a long time to watch him as a co-host on the View again - - only to have most of it pre-empted by the President's press conference in NYC. Did any fans of Mario tape the entire show on the West Coast?
