@msmjblanco I currently don't have any screen recording software (hence the lack of tutorial so far). I'm waiting for a few financial things to settle before I invest in any, but as I'm on a mac, chances are it will be iShowU. Screenflow looks very nice, but it's rather pricey. In the short term, I might start putting together a written tutorial.
@pikachu000000000@pikachu000000000 The Tardis is not actually a 3D model. It was created with lots and lots of 2D planes in After Effects. Thankfully the Tardis is quite boxy or constructing it in After Effects would have been rather difficult. Separate to this, I have a largely complete 3D model I have constructed using Blender, however, you can find a free model of the (older, hartnell) Tadis here
@pikachu000000000 Ok, So I couldn't paste the link, but if you type "blender tardis" into google, it will be the second result. The font was simply Futura
I've been waiting with baited breath for a week for the tutorial. I've downloaded the music and messed around with AE, but I'd love to see how you did this. You are probably just really busy, but I have a down moment, so I thought I'd ask you again. Thanks!
@msmjblanco Things are rather busy at the moment, and it's likely I wouldn't have time to record anything until next weekend (not this weekend). Consider also the time constraints of creating a tutorial. It's faster and easier to produce a video than to go through every step of how and why it was done. I will need a bit of time to do it properly. However, I appreciate that you are very interested. Hopefully I will get something to you soon!
pretty cool indeed

Hey Thomas! What software do you use for screen capture to make the tutorial? Is it Jing?

@thomasdicker If you can break it into 5 minute chunks then "Jing" is freeware. It's not bad....easy to use and seamless on both Windows and Mac.

One word. AWESOME.
May i ask, where did you get the TARDIS 3d model and what font is used for the episode name?

This is GREAT! I'm just starting to teach myself After Effects and I'm a HUGE fan of the Dr. I'd be really interested in how you did this.
