  • Fantastic! Your drawings are magnificent! I really liked Kurt Cobain : )

  • this is so good do you draw from photos?

  • ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!

its as if the pages were mirrors reflecting true images, beautiful.

  • who is the guy before the googly-eyed man? and also, whose the second to last portrait of?

i like how macabre and scrappy it all is, i love it when people have notebooks and art books that look like that, and how you turn pages in different directions.

    Bravo!

  • WoW, c'est tellement beau, tu as beaucoup de talent! J'aimerais en voir plus....

  • Great!!!!

  • Hello, I don't speak english a lot, I have one question.

First of all sorry for my bad expression, you plastificate the pages? (I don't know if "plastificate" exists, I want to say "put plastic in the pages to protect the drawings" if it's true, please explain to me like you do it.

    thank you and sorry ;)

  • Golden makes a polymer medium that you can use to seal your pages and they wont be sticky.

  • This is great work! Al i can say is MORE, please, MORE.

Are these drawn in regular graphite pencil? And what did you use for color? Thanx :0)

  • dude jus how much is that book.give me a price.

  • Thanks mate! Anyway, it isn't one of my favourite drawings. Soon I will be up with a new My Moleskine web site filled of new drawings, stay tuned ;)

  • "Phenominal! and inspirational" Surprised at the negative comments?? they are simply all great faces to me (known or unknown). I will try sketching with a tech pencil. Thank you for the tip and sharing your wonderfull art.

  • omg. amazing..just purely amazing

  • nice but

    a little bit disturbing too

  • Sorry I didn't see you was a man. My mistake, I appologize.

  • This is the best dry medium work I've seen in a Moleskine so far, but I just wish she would work from life more and capture her own moments than a photographs which capture one for you. That was a real disappointment: over-saturation of Pop Pesonality Cult Icons. Those people already have enough fame. Time to shed some light on some UNSUNG heroes or Anti-heroes rather maybe.

  • amazing stuff. you're use of shadow and texturing is some of the best i've seen.

  • Cool drawings! Why do the pages look like they're coated in plastic?

  • Thanks mate! I use to cover drawings with acetate film, in order to protect them.

  • great work! do you use a number of differing hardness of leads?

  • Thanks! Nope, I use a technical refillable pencil equipped with HB 5mm leads. Is much more practice than the wood pencils and versatile.

  • c'est beau

  • Merci beaucoup!

  • this is so great! :) i love it and i gotta to fav it :) great job... i really mean it! :)

  • I hope oneday I will be able to present my Moleskin with such great work.

What did you use to cover each piece? Did you cut them yourself or can you buy them ready made for Moleskins?

Thankyou for letting us into a small part of your world.

  • To cover the drawings I use an acetate film sheet, cutted to right size, then fixed with transparent scotch tape at the top of the page.

    Many thanks to you!

  • Mate your stuff is amazing, i love the styles! Keep it up.

  • awsome stuff I like so much, I'd like to know how did you learn it. I have some drawings skills, what would you recommend?

  • Thank you for the appreciation! I've learned by myself, drawing everyday. An art school can help you, but it depends what your city can offer under this point of view. My suggestion is to develop your style outside of the school... but also to attend an artistic academy, because is important to have the basis. Anyway don't underrate your gift.

  • Cool! :)

  • I use a technical pencil like the Staedtler Mars Micro. For some other drawings like the eagle and Bjork I use the smooth colored pencil Stabilo Softcolor by Stabilo Professional Line. While for the drawing at page 19 I've used the classic fountain pen ink.

  • This is beautiful, lovely work. On average how long does one portrait take you to complete?

  • For a portrait from 30 minutes to 2 hours, it depends by how much darkly it will be when completed :)

  • Fascinating and astonishing, love the format of the drawings
