  • I think the P7F is definitely the nicest zx-6r, much more modern looking than the older ones, and hasn't been beaten since in my opinion!

  • GOBBIDGE!

  • does anybody know what type of gas goes in the Bottom-Link Uni-Trak with gas-charged shock? i have an 08 zx6r and it doesn't have anything in it. please help me out

  • love mine. though i think it needs gasket for valve cover at 4000 miles. and it fell over in my driveway on a really windy day.

  • i have 07 an a old lady made me drop mines

  • the 05-06 is still the best looking and most powerful zx6r. Eff the new ones.

  • @dukviper90 totally agree with you mate, the models since 05 06- shit to kill yourself over. No more beautiful a 600 than the 05 06 zx6r. a big eff off to the video poster with the ludicrous comment!

  • i rode it and it is da best!!!! da speed!! whoa tremendeous!!!!

  • Great track too, this was filmed at Barber Motorsports Park in Leeds, Al

  • whats the gas mialage on this beast??

  • It depends on how you ride it. My commute is 142 miles a day and I use between 2.5 -2.9 gallons of gas, so between 48-56mpg. Now out playing in the twisties It'll drop in the low 30's, thats keeping it on the revs in 2nd and 3rd gear.

  • fucking nice motorcycle ;)

  • Just creamed my pants.

  • same here brah

  • i will get it in few more months, yahoooooooooooo

  • i got mine a few mos ago and i LOOOOVE it. yahoooooo indeed

  • Hell yeah! Got mine a couple months back and love it to death. This is definitely one of the most beautiful looking Japanese bikes ever, the '09 re-design looks like complete crap.

  • @Epoq

can't agree more man, the 09 design looks wayy too bulky and ugly. especially the over size exhuast, ugh

  • AWESOM BIKE !!! <3

Btw, someone knows what song that is ? ??

  • Zx6r the most powerful 600 get in!

  • nice video pretty kool music...

yeaa kawasaki are my fav bikes....

my unckle had one but he sold it...

  • man i wish i could ride like this... im still a newbie and all that does is increase my respect for these guys, its a little harder than it looks!

  • 19/F - ne guyz wanna chat? im bored and horny! 5

  • 22/m- Wants you to shut the fuck up.

  • i love zx6r and yzfr6~! they are good bike!~~~~~ cool cool cool!~

  • Nice bike!!!

Got one just like it in black

  • I have just got the 04 ZX6 636 coming from an RS125, i have no problems, its easy to ride but not verry good on long rideouts, great bike tho, more than fast enough for the streets!

  • lol wow!!

youtube put in a new option when you post comments.

    "audio preview"

    its so funny!!!!

  • Especially when you write things like gjabnjdkfsvsefgr. Lol.

  • lol

  • hey does anybody know if the 07-08 models have any common issues?? Went to check out an 07 that started making this really loud fan noise after idling for about 3 minutes.

  • A fan is meant to kick in on any motorized vehicle. Cars have them too. The oil and radiator alone won't keep the engine cool. A fan should be normal. Although this is coming from someone who doesn't know anything about bikes.

  • what kind of mileage do these things get

  • 40-45 something...

  • I get 38, it wants 91 octane.

  • ive got an 05 ZX6R 636 for sale 5500obo check it out at

    flickr . com/photos/29357516@N02

    pittsburgh.

  • couldn't get to the link...boooo!

  • ive had my 07 zx6r for awhile now, nice bike for sure apply the jumper mod and youll have the fastest 600 out there..not a good starter bike, go with a ninja 250 or 500

  • Nice bike. Cant wait till i get my driving license.

  • is this a good bike 2 start on

  • No.

  • just bought a new 07 zx6r yesterday. very fun to ride. my back just hurts, lol

  • honda is a piece of shit..cars and bikes..go with the kawasaki ...looks better and its way quicker of the line...

  • I love my ZX6-R. Go to the bike shop and sit on all the 600's, the Honda, the Suzuki, Yamaha, ect. The Kawasaki has a nice feel to it. I have no regrets with this bike.

  • smiling because he loves motorcycles :D

  • Unless you are just going to use it on the track only I would recommend 2007-08 CBR 600 which completly makes this bike look like a joke both on street or track. And yes I have road them both street and track. I would recommend 2006 on up GSXR 600 over this bike, 2006+ Triumph 675 Daytona over this bike, 06 on up R6, and without a doubt the 2005-06 Ninja 636 over it.. This just isnt that good of a bike which is a shame, the new ninja 1000 rocks though. Dont believe me look at the comparisons

  • Thanks for the insight.

  • He is right, look at the stats... the bikes follow each other in every category. The honda is .01 ahead in the quarter, yet the major mags beat up the zx6 at every opportunity (holligan's bike, wtf??) . If the Ninja was the rebel back in the 80's, the published motorcycle world has made it ever more so, while proving Honda as a corporate advertising genius . I got an Accord, don't get me wrong, But I see lots of contradictions in Runn's arguement, & I'm w/Camaroshop1.

  • did kawa finely put a steering dampener on the zx6r? i know the 06 didn't have one.

  • can't stop riding it. this is my 4th bike ( after a r6, gixxer 600 and '05 zx6r) I have to say this new zx6r perform the best. I am very comfortable and confident when i am on this bike, hitting corners like a breeze. the only thing that worries me is that i enjoy it so much, putting a lot miles on it...

  • Any facts to justify your comments? Reliability-wise, they are all in the same corner.

  • Honda is shit in the 600cc area(just like there shitty Civic Si's), compared to Kawasaki's 600cc.

  • just bought one today... intense intense toy

  • I got a zx6r last month, its a bitch waiting through kawa's break in period; but the bike is a sweatheart & can't imagine going another road. Rock on, bro.

  • thanx man, i put 700 miles on it in 2 weeks, and i've been kinda pushing it... need an oilchange right now, and here comes the beating=)

  • yeah i just got mine and its heartbreaking to wait through. i still have 400 to go on the first break in mark!

  • just bought one today... intense intense toy

  • scale of 1-10, how much would you recommend one? i'm looking to get one tomorrow, decided on that vs an r6 because of the price. One question, why such a low redline compared to other bikes?

  • on the scale its a 9, great bike overall, def. better then an r6, and the red line is justn like all the other 600's, 16.5k

  • Ordered 1

    will arrive after easter :)

  • alright thanks man you been a big help

  • If I were you I would get myself a ZX-6R (if you are really into supersport) with reduced power (34BHP). A 125BHP bike without sufficient road experience is seriously dangerous, not only for you but also for others! After a year -or whenever you feel fit for it- you can remove the power restriction and ride a damn hot bike.

1000cc superbike is serious stuff. ride a few years something around 100BHP (still enough power to kill you). in a few years you can upgrade ...

  • yahan 20 BHP log sambhal nahi pate hain aur 100 BHP ki baat karte hain

  • can some one please help me out iv got my motorcycle learners license and not this but next spring i'm gonna be buying my bike so i'm looking at my choices i will be taking a motorcycle course where they provide a 250cc and i asked my friend who's been biking for a couple years now and he sayid i should go with a 600 because the ninja 250 wont last very long ill be craving more so would i be able to handle this bike?? after riding a 250cc for a month? FYI i would one day like a 10R

  • I currently have a ninja 250 and I am uograding to the zx-6r. I have had the 250 for about a year now and have had no regrets. Its a very forgiving, light, low maintanence bike with plenty of power for the street. However, it is not much fun on the highway. I would reccomend a used 250 for a few months, then an upgrade. But the choice is yours and you should ride what you feel comfortable on, taking into consideration your height/weight. And make sure to take the MSF course. See you on the road!

  • wow thx blue ninja how much is the 2008 model like 4k beacuse i like the look of 2008 not so much other years. and if i bought it new how much could i sell it for a few months later and there are alot of highways i take hows the accel on it? how much did the MSF course cost you and thx alot

  • 4k sounds about right. Dont know how much you can sell it for but they are always in demand for new riders. Plenty of power for the street and can sustain good speeds, but the highway is a bit iffy. It tends to burn a lot of oil and get blown around by passing cars. The MSF in Oregon was $180 but varies by state. Its a three day class and definetly worth it. Good Luck

  • you just cannot compare the new zx6r to any of its rivals its a cut above the rest.

slipper clutch digi gear indicator wavy discs the list goes on and well you have to agree it looks the dogs danglies.

  • NINJA RULZ!

it is that simple. maybe the cbr600rr is technically the better bike but kawasaki's zx-6r is definitly the cooler one. and if you know how to ride it eats every cbr600 alive...

  • this seems to be the debate. A sales person representing all of the brands said they're all pretty much the same... I think you are right, it comes down to the riders on each make.

  • cant w8b till im 17 to get this motherfuker

  • Is 160000 Rpms even possible? Wow lol. I'm not really into sport bikes (or bikes at all really) But this bike has kinda changed my perspective on them for some reason. I want one...

  • very possible. my bike revs out to 19,000+

  • and whats with the Suzuki GSX-R 600 ?

which one of those is the best ?

  • ZX-6R "the best"!

  • what is better now.. the honda cbr 600 rr or the kawasaki zx-6r ?? i thing the kawasaki!

  • The Kawasaki ZX6 no doubt!

    I just Looooooooooooooove that bike!

  • The ZX-6R looks better if you ask me but the CBR won every single comparison - 30 lbs less weight cannot be overlooked.

  • so glad they brought back the analog tach

  • I wish they'd bring it all back analog, just dumb to be looking at at that digital business.

  • honestly guys, the difference in power in all the 2007 600 class bikes is minimal, but the handling of the zx6r is amazing i own one. i have ridden and gsxr 750 and the handling is awful compared to my bike. all of the 07 bikes are great, but if you want that extra edge in handling, ride a ninja!

  • fanboys... le sigh.

  • well in australia the zx6r is the most powerful 600, even though it weighs 12kg more than the lightest 600 which is the cbr

  • There isn´t a ZX6r only for australia, the ZX6r is the same in every place in the world, and isn´t the most powerfull, but is the most sweet

  • whats the most powerful then? besides the daytona 675.

  • CBR 600, not only for the number of her power(that is 1 HP more), also for the way of give the power(more power in the middle and bottom rpm).Sorry,my english it´s horrible, i hope you understand me ;)

  • I agree with you, the power delivery of the Honda CBR600RR is so smooth. I haven't ride zn '07 ZX6R yet, but the CBR is increadible.

  • The beauty of a kawa bike used to be how brutal the power curve was, I hope it is still the same in the small displacement bikes... its just a 6 after all, lol

  • It's good to be green...

    Kawasaki Ninja...

    Lovin it!

  • i might buy ninja or hayabusa think still gonna head for hayabusa ,ninja has very good performance but hayabusa is better

  • Nice Kawasaki my friend

  • hi!

could somebody tell me what is the ecu trick?

  • ecu trick dont work with 07 i believe

  • my dad has a fz1 and this bike ecept 06

  • If you go to motorcycle-usa com look at the bike review for the 07kawi and there will be a link that can solve ur answers

I hope this solves ur answers. If you do this to ur ninja please tell if you feel a difference. I was thinking of gettting a ninja but then found out that it was the heaviest of the 600s and had less power

  • well the bike handles real well and with a exhaust change u can loose up to a good 20lbs.. and with the ecu trick which is free u can add up to 10 hp and it realy helps out in the 13500 rpm range which would do more than make up for the wheight and power disadvandage

  • doesnt the ECU trick only work with the 05 and 06 moddles only?

  • That finding the hidden horsepower by playing with the harness clip (jumpers)for the '07 ZX-6R was either in a issue of "Two" or "Bike"(Brit bike mags) can't remember the month or which magazine it was. I think they extracted almost 10 h.p. by doing it.

  • o and its by far the best looking 600cc come on honda looks like crap

  • u want a ride which will make u shit yourself within 2 minutes of rideing it,but yet feel an amazing rush.get a ninja i have 1 and i have smoked cbrr and gsxr guys..alot is down to the rider aswell..and the difference in speed is tiny..you wouold think 1 go's 30 mph faster..this bike is the best get a cbr or a gsxr if u wanna feel safe better yet go get a car

  • Good to have your professional opinion...but I'd rather not defecate on myself (and I don't think the bike would make me do so...) Stock as they are (say when you all will) the ZX-6R is the heaviest and lowest powered bike out there. I've heard the chassis is amazing and it handles like a dream, but to keep up in anything other than the curves you've gotta do the jumper trick (I read that a while ago) and get a full exhaust or something to lose all the extra weight.

  • yes the cbr600 comes in 1 gsxr 600 comes in 2ndplace and zx6r comes in 3rd..wanna know why? simple..the honda is the most reliable with good power gsxr is the most customizible and also very reliable..the NINJA is the most scary 600

  • mmmm what do u mean by most scary? o.O

  • and the changes to the US bike arent so much emissions (though the cat is ridiculously large) but they are for noise regulations. sicne most states require that a vehicle not exceed 90db, the exhaust valve (which opens around 7800rpm) begins to close around 13500. no rechipping required- theres a small plug next to the ecu. all you need to do is put a wire jumper in that plug, and BAM. you've got top end- and can pull on those little cbr600's alllll day.

  • Just was wondering about that wire jump, I have a 07 zx-6 and I feel the difference in power around that RPM. Does that plug have any number on it. Where did you learn that, it's awesome, it's stuff the dealer would ever tell you about. Thanks, can't wait to try it and feel the difference.

  • I read the MCUSA 600cc shootout a few months ago and they said the new ZX-6R falls short. Kawasaki had to make some changes to the US version to comply with emission standards...it's by far the lowest horsepower and heaviest 600 on the market (32 lbs heavier than the new CBR). But putting on a new exhaust system drops a ton of weight and doing a quick fix to the chip to put it on Euro settings gains you a decent amount of horsepower.

  • trust me when youre on the zx6r youre wondering where the hell that extra 32lbs is. the bike's suspension is amazing, i've rode other new 600'sand those guys just cant keep up maybe its all rider, but if you ask me the 07 zx6r is an amazing bike- screw what editors say.

  • damn, hott bike, stayin true 2 kawasaki colors 2, GREEN

  • i have one and its awesome, handling is amazing, breaking is phenominal

  • It´s a good bike for use everyday??Confortable??

  • does it come standard with a headlight out?

  • nice bike but from every mag out there for 600 shootouts came 1. cbr 2. gsxr 3. zx 4. r6

  • Guys the handling on this bike is amazing and it revs like formula plus design-total 10 out of 10.Since i bought it - day by day i love it more.

  • Its not a bad lookin bike, but I like my 06 zx-6r better

  • I'll have to disagree - I like the new styling best. It's all a matter of personal preference though.

  • Hey Make, waddya think of the '09?

  • man i want that bike!

  • Badazz !!!

  • Buen video de lo que será la nueva Ninja en 2007..

Nice video of the new 2007´s Ninja..
