  • An immense amount of things to be challenged by, we need to pray for each other as a Christian body... Pray for other Christians we've never met... And pray for the future Christians we never will meet until we get to paradise!

  • I heard this years ago! and now I heard this again thru Facebook and it's just as impacting as before! It's true but yet so sad none of us understand the exact meaning of this word, I don't even know how to handle this truth! #truthbetold

  • who ever disliked this video should be ashamed of yourself and it just means that you guys are denying the truth

if you truly find out who god is, you would not be disliking this video

  • @7773lena We can't judge others. Pray for those who voted this video down.

  • the church of GOD needs this more than ever! we must repent and stop being luke warm. men RISE UP! MEN UP ! ITS NOT JUST UP TO THE PASTORS OR LEADERS BUT THE CALLING IS FOR US THE CHILDREN OF GOD

  • Awesome vessel!

  • Glory to God for this genuine preaching. You see, brother Wilkerson seem to preach not only a great teaching, but his walk with Lord Jesus.

  • Titus 3:10 Warn a divisive person once, and then warn him a second time. After that, have nothing to do with him.

  • y are people arguing about god... if u dnt believe the. dont listen anf if u do just keep all opinions to eachother. no one truly knows god but those who are true and commited with faith know more of the word. those who dnt believe in the word then I feel sorrt for all of u

  • Wilkerson was a great man of God. This video is soul touching. I love you, Jesus.

  • Amen!

  • Thank you

  • this guy needs to chill out!

  • @sincerehastings If only you knew what you are saying i would be shocked

  • @shpikieboy1 i know exactly what i said, that's why i said it, you don't know any more than i do..

  • @sincerehastings I know more than you because I know God and you don't know Him and if you continue like that one day you will die in your own arrogance and unbeleive.

  • @shpikieboy1 OK what's his favorite color? Who is his favorite singer?

  • @ihventura good one

  • @ihventura His fa

  • @ihventura His favourite colour is white and as far as I know He doesn't have a favourite singer as He likes chorus and your god's favourite colour is black and he has many favourite singers: Britney Spears, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Black Sabath, AC DC, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Rammstein, Beatles, Freddie mercury, Micheal Jackson and many others..........Your sarcasm and human stupidity will send you to hell. in Jesus, who is the Only way to eternal life, not one of the ways, the only WAY!!

  • @shpikieboy1 well how am i any more arrogant than you, you claim you 'know' god!? ....stop being absurdly preposterous!

  • @shpikieboy1 What is absurd to you is true to me,I know Him and your arrogance and pride can do nothing against it, pride was the first sin, pride threw satan out of haven, and your pride will throw you into hell, how do you dare to argue about things that you don't know nothing, you are absurd with your human wisdom which is stupidity for God, if I die today and I am wrong I will lose nothing but if you die and you're wrong you will lose everything, creation has a Creator-Jesus.

  • @arcticblueice there are others who have claimed other beliefs have helped them to get over their problems, big deal, when people 'truely believe' something then it becomes 'real to them' ,even though we all know not all faiths can be correct, right? people like you when your civil and coherent .it was will power, boredom with your old way of life, the guilt placed upon you by others but also their help! that changed you, jesus can't do anything for you, remember that 'free will' thing?

  • wow... That's what i desire!

Does anyone know what the music is on the background?

  • @peejee7 the credits for the music are at the end.

  • We must depend on the Holy Spirit's presence/Prayer to accomplish His will, rather going after our ways and understanding. The church has forgotten about the leading of the Holy Spirit and has forgot why we are Christians- because we love Him we follow His ways with our heart and not our mind. People have forgotten to love God with their heart in everything they do. With His love, you don't want to sin because you want to love others just the same. Our world has forgotten what love really is.

  • Wonderful preaching from Wilkerson. My heart smiled while the tears welled up. One thing though: Children will not go to hell, even those that have not heard the Good News of Jesus Christ. The Jews have taught us that no child under 13 years of age is accountable under the Law of Moses (Bar Mitzvah- Son of the Law [of Moses]). It is those that have attained 13 years of age that we must reach with the Gospel with urgency, who are of the age of accountability before the Lord Almighty.

  • @wattlebough I never saw that in the Law of Moses. I could not disagree with you more.

If that is the case then, wouldn't it be better that all children die before the age of 13 so they don't go to Hell? If that was so, the Cross, life, and death of Jesus Christ has lost its weight if there were other ways to Heaven. Just die before 13.

Please read the Bible in its entirety! Romans spells it out clearly, have fallen and all are to be held accountable. Only Faith in Jesus will save!

  • @corrozu You have inadvertently condemned every aborted child to hell corrozu. You are correct in saying that the age of thirteen is not written in the Torah, but any man with a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26) is appalled by the injustice of the idea that an unborn innocent might be condemned to hell because they did not receive the Gospel of Christ. If it appalls the spirit of a follower of Christ, it may be that sense of injustice is of the Spirit. And "God is not unjust..." (Heb 5:16)

  • Correction Hebrews 6:10a

  • @corrozu Remember who the Judge is corrizu. Revelation 20:12. Many blessings and kind regards :)

  • I think we also need to bring the passion in our lives and the way we live for Christ. Although we are not physically dead or asleep, our spirits are. The enemy will use that dormant state against us, and he will take out the fight in us and destroy it. We will no longer feel on fire for God. We need to bring back the passion...

  • I love this video. I hope it will too open others heart. as God had opened mine...

  • this shid is uh god forgive me for my words but this is deep truthful and opening

    thank yu david

  • The power of the HOLY SPIRIT convicts us through this messager. We hear, GOD. I ask in CHRIST JESUS that YOU would empower us as YOU see fit to do YOUR Will like YOU have YOUR servant Pastor Wilkerson.

  • It's too easy to comment on a YouTube video explaining how something needs to be done. People need to wake up to their surroundings. We should follow David's example and take the gospel to the lowest to the low as Jesus did. Not waste time getting in arguments over YouTube. Be smart and discerning.

  • Is he an Apostolic preacher??

  • that really touched me :(

  • Everybody is crying and saying: ömg, this jam is so awesome, and David is so right about this, bla bla bla"But i am asking, and David is asking ... are you concerned? or do you feel anguish when you see yourself, your church and all the society? Stop crying, stop beeing concerned and ACT! Don't let it be just a quick fire. Feed this feelings u have just right now. Feed them with actions not with temporary tears. God bless us all.

  • I cry every time I listen to this! So powerful. God baptize us in your anguish. Oh how we need you!

  • This video uplifts my heart every time. I come back here to listen to this a couple times a year to remind me of why I serve. Thank you for posting this video. It has made such a huge difference in my life. I cry listening to this every time like it's my first time listening! Lord, baptize us in anguish so that we may complete your will!

  • This is so powerful!

  • This video came just in time, seriously. I needed this awakening.

  • Let us all have a heart for the people around us and let's pray for everyone. Everyone needs our prayers. Here is the thing you see, God is only gonna work in people when He sees that we pray for one another. When He sees the love in us for others and himself. Remember we need to be like Jesus more. Speak, walk, teach, belief and pray like Jesus did. Jesus called himself a worm on the cross, I want to be less then that. Oh Jesus remove me that people can see the you in me. Keep me broken!!

  • I LOVE YOU LORD! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SPEAKING TO ME.

  • every time I watch this it means more to me.thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.amen

  • Thank You for sharing, this has been a blessing in our lives.

  • David Wilkerson could no longer stand his sorrow. That is why he wrote one final blog post to say goodbye, then plowed his car into an oncoming tractor-trailer on a two-lane highway near Tyler, TX. Unfortunately for his wife, she survived, despite Wilkerson's best efforts.

  • @rosscreuswell A Christian sees God's hand in his death. An atheist's explanation is he did it on purpose.

Why do you run from the truth? Seek him and he will find you.

  • Lets never forget any of this, EVER! "Anguish means extreme pain & distress. The emotions become so stirred that it becomes painful; acute deeply felt inner pain because of conditions, about you, in you or around you. Anguish: deep pain, deep sorrow! A true prayer life begins at the place of anguish." -David Wilkerson

  • If only, that agony and sorrow, the spirit within those words that makes your whole being wants to cry and cry and cry and cry until you can feel the sadness of God's heart for us, for the lost if only that precious moments of true reality we are in would last longer than while watching this and listening to it. If only we could stay that in anguish of Holiness for as long as it takes until people around us, people that Lord died for, are faced with His Glory and Love and truth that He IS.

  • ghaaaaaaaaahahahahah I cant take this anymore,.,.,.,I need you, all of you! I cant compromise anymore with this world, I cant be quiet anymore, I need u God break me once again and speak to us show yourself in your power. This is your world, I love you baptize me hard. I am going all-in I cant be lukewarm anymore.,.,,I cant take it, I NEED YOU!!!

  • David Wilkerson's words still ring out. Brothers and Sisters, the enemy wants to get the fight out of us... we must not let him!! We must stand together.

    We must fight!!!

  • @Graybillionaire How ironic..

  • @ddmr7 How stupid and sensless..........

  • WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO ANGUISH IN THE HOUSE OF GOD

  • Stop Sinning Fallow Jesus

  • Looks like about 78 people are going to hell.

  • I cant stop my tears whenever I listen this teaching...

  • this always touches me..

RIP David Wilkerson...God Gives And God Takes Away And God Has Taken David Wilkerson Back Home

Thank You God For Giving Us A Great Man A Humble Honest Man David Wilkerson

  • Thank you Holy Spirit for awaking me to your cry for anguish in my life through your man of God, David Wilkerson. Amen!

  • @steveneal2009 You shouldnt pray to the Holy Spirit.

  • LET THE FIRE OF GOD SPREAD! Amen!

  • Let all the world cry out with all there hearts & let us forget about hiding our faith, & listening to the world But let us become the dying sons of Jesus Christ! The people we need to be, & forgive us Lord for everything, we dont deserve your love! Because we are so sinful, so prideful, help us to pray the sinners prayer & continue to let your plans for us become the dreams in our hearts! Help us love one another and forget about religion & race, awaken our gifts,& use them for your will Amen!

  • this brings me 2 tears every time & Im glad, if it didnt I wood hate myself because we cant b so far gone that we feal nothing when we hear that. isnt it time we Christians unit & begin 2 cry out 2 our Lord?!?! Isnt it about time we stand up & say I BELIEVE IN JESUS! we R never going 2 get things acomplished if we sit around inside our churches & never speak out! We need 2 take it 2 the lost & dying & use it 2 save a broken world! Amen!

  • Wow! Praise God! This is me.. My heart has been so cold from just hurt and pain.. its like getting back to your first love.. the first time you came to Jesus. We really need this back in our lives!

  • Awesome Encouragement! As believers in Christ, we are called to action and to work together for the Glory of God through Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, because of our own selfishness, dissension arises and causes us to be discouraged and not want to work together. We need to put our selfishness aside and Jesus in the fore front so that we can get strong, in-Him, and then begin to do His work like sharing His gospel, feeding the homeless, building up our families, etc. God bless.

  • Oops, I meant, God not Hod, sorry.

  • Prayer is what it's gonna take, true anguish to get this country back to Hod, so many people confused. Psalm 119:105, says, "Thy word is a lamp into my feet, and a light into my path. The Bible is God's word study it to shew yourself approved.

  • May God have MERCY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Please realize befoe you pray to be baptized in anguish just what you are doing. I'm not sure what God might do, but he could show you the pain that Christ feels everytime you turn away from him. He could show you how broken hearted he gets when you turn away from him, the one person that will not let you down. This is a serious prayer and needed, but don't pray for it lightly because it is not something to be taken lightly.

  • @andreiyoungonebest I've been watching Touched By an Angel and volunteering my time and money to the homeless, what have you been watching?

  • oh God i'm sorry..im going to pray in a while and may you baptize me with anguish... :(((

  • "True passion comes out of true anguish." so true in my life. I went through so much pain and fear. He brought me through. and now i will NEVER turn my back on him. NEVER.

  • so much passion and so true

  • Sizzleman8, that is a matter of your opinion. People are free to share how they are feeling. I think your comment was uncharitable.

  • @60Shalom The premise is that the world is going to hell in a handbasket and we need to feel anguish over it. That's not scriptural or true. The three words translated as hell in the Bible, (Hades, Sheol, and The Valley of Hinnom - Gehenna) don't mean hell. Not even CLOSE! Gehenna WAS the place for the wicked. You're taking the Bible out of the TIME, PLACE and CIRCUMSTANCES in which it was written. "A workman who needeth not to be ashamed", oh, pardon ME is your name TIMOTHY?!

  • @shizzleman8 "But he will say, 'I tell you, I do not know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of evil!' 28 In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God but you yourselves cast out." - So then in scripture, what is this place called that Jesus was talking about?

  • @Musica4inspirador The soul is incorruptible. No root canals in the afterlife. Think soberly, and analytically. Hell as we understand it comes not from the Bible but from the Catholic Church and Dante's Infrerno. Men trying to keep men in line has to be done with laws and punishments for breaking them, but that's not God. What if the Supreme Court suddenly lifted the ban on murder for a few weeks. You can kill your mate and find a younger more attractive wife. David, Bathsheeba & Uriah.

  • Both evolution and Jesus teach that we're not all born evil. "I didn't come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance", "I have not come except to the lost of the house of Israel". Are you certain that you were fearfully and wonderfully made to be nothing more than dirty, filthy, rags of unreighteousness requiring re-creation? That doesn't really make sense, does it? The writers of the Bible used a number of ancient literary devices. Jesus used a mixed metahor in contrast to John/Luke 7

  • @MarkofBeastRevealed Well, possible motives for murder are profit, revenge, jealousy, to conceal a crime, to avoid humiliation ... Those potentially effect all of us. Honestly I'm more concerned about anger, intolerance and reckless drivers who don't really care about people after they get behind the wheel of a car. What you're saying you're worshipping and what you actually are is probably not the same, agreed? I think most atheists are at a minimum practicing Laveyan Satanism, they say no

  • I don't want to be any more or less religious than a gorilla.

I don't want to be any more or less spiritual than a chimpanzee.

I don't want to be any more or less caring than a dolphin.

Hopefully I can just let my yes be yes. If the God of the Bible is so great why did it take him 3/4 of a million words in 5 different languages to identify himself? Hi my name's Dan, my dad turned down the rank of admiral he was Navy rescue. He and the Navy gave me my own Cross. I'm a Jewish Banker. see?

  • @shizzleman8 Congrats.

  • @Slimzy12 Do you think Jesus was well received? Do you think when he said people should eat his flesh and drink his blood and they all ran away except the 12 that made him feel all warm and fuzzy inside? What about when all of his followers forsook him? Had to hide himself so he didn't get stoned to death? Felt good do you think? What about Judas' kiss? I've recieved honor and love my whole life, I know on earth what it feels like to be Jesus in heaven! Thanks!!

  • @WeirdBrainGoo We're all the same. My ancestors aren't any different than yours. We all have consciousness, intentionality, and beliefs. Yours aren't mine but the fact that we have them is immutable. If you would rather meet Jesus in person (The material Christ) than have his spirit then you're religious minded. I doesn't matter to me if you care about me just send money. Whatever God thinks about something probably isn't the way I'm thinking about it. Evolution falsifies original sin.

  • Take me to the threshing floor - melt me Yahweh... Break me... Give me a heart that feel anguish

My heart is indeed stirred within me...

  • @60Shalom If your heart is being stirred AND you're telling me about it you're bragging. Don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Nobody wants to be corrected. Well of course you don't. Somebody is lost and you have to build up some kind of immunity against not helping them, that's sick. Have you ever seen that program what would you do? I think it's on ABC. Some people talk to the pregnant woman drinking, some say, "It's not my problem, it's none of my business", see?

  • This is so true... We have all been so selfish... And words like these are just ignored because they aren't what we want to hear. But they need to be heard.

  • This exactly what we are lacking today: anguish over the souls of our loved ones. We must be so pathetic in God's eyes-so luke warm! Reading some of the comments-there is no question that the Bible is the true word of God. I give you Israel. To be scattered as a nation so many times and to come BACK AGAIN and be a nation again, just like the Bible prophesied it would do in the last days should be proof enough for anyone. God's Word Stands True!

  • THE BIBLE IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST. it is all a big deception. Men tried to exalt themselves above God They rejected his son, God sent the spirit not a law book, King james was born 6, 1566, 6th king of scotland, He authorized 66 books and gave them power to speak (the bible says). The power is in the spirit, not in a book. 2 and a half billion people say "the bible teaches me truth" but they all disagree with each other

  • @MarkofBeastRevealed Its easy to say that the bible is a lie but when you truly live by the words and principles of the bible and you see it work in your own life, nobody will be able to tell you its not real. Thats me. Don't let the lies that men tell about the bible and the lies that men tell about God cause you to think that either is not real. Its the men that are lying, not the bible. Its the men that are lying, not God.

  • @ppdrawings I never said the things in the bible werent true. God sent the spirit. Now you know. THE BIBLE IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST

  • @MarkofBeastRevealed

Look up ''korean girl goes to hell''. There are consequences if you do not read the word. The bread of life. You end up in hell, and you eat something nasty. Its your choice my friend. I saw you a lot of times on youtube, and I hear you talk about the bible is fake. Do you talk to people about repent? To read the word? About the cross? CHECK YOURSELF MAN!!! Your going the wrong path!!!!!! READ THE WORD!!!

  • @coolboysoldier1 What i told you is the truth. I didn't get if from man. I received it from God. THE BIBLE IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST

  • @MarkofBeastRevealed Whoever you received word from about the Bible being the mark of the beast, was not God.

  • @WeirdBrainGoo All you have is 66 books. Christ died so God would send the Holy ghost. You have to be led by the spirit. Any devil can quote a bible. When the spirit comes on you, you will know more then what is contained in a little book. THE BIBLE IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST. you can't buy the word of God

  • @MarkofBeastRevealed How do we receive the Bible on our hands or foreheads?

The Bible is God's word, and he wants us to follow his word, the whole word, with nothing added, taken away or changed. The Holy Ghost helps us follow God's word.

  • @WeirdBrainGoo Jesus is the word, not the bible. the bible is a history book. the word has to come to you. you can't buy it. You memorize the bible in your head and carry it in your hand. That is how satan controls you. he makes you think that whatever he quotes in your head out of the bible is the word of God. That way he can make you do what he wants. Because you can make the bible say whatever you want it to say. You have to have the Holy ghost and be led in power.

  • @MarkofBeastRevealed Yes, I agree that you need the Holy Ghost too, but the Bible itself isn't wrong. How would we know anything about Jesus without the Bible?

If someone makes it out to say something it doesn't say, they are doing Satan's work.

  • @WeirdBrainGoo Your right. the bible is not good or bad. It is peoples hearts. The bible is just a book. 2 and a half billion of you all say the bible teaches you truth but you all make it say something different. Why do you need a bible if you have the spirit? where are the laws written? "IN OUR HEARTS" what by? "THE SPIRIT". When you are filled with the spirit then you know all things, which is much more then just a little book. don't U believe that the spirit leads U ad guides U to all truth?

  • @MarkofBeastRevealed You're right in that people aren't agreeing and it's difficult to know the truth. But everyone also say they're being led by the spirit, so your theory doesn't help there. If everyone thought everything they feel was leading from the spirit, then we could think sinful desires are caused by it too.

  • @WeirdBrainGoo scary but you can't cheat. No book can help. when a person really gets into the spirit, they will know it. if they don't then they don't know his voice and are lost already. if you have to run to a bible to see if what you think is true then you don't know his voice either. THE BIBLE IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST. pray that the power of the spirit will fall on you

  • @MarkofBeastRevealed Doesn't David Wilkerson find the answer to pretty much anything in the Bible? Are you saying he doesn't know the spirit?

  • @WeirdBrainGoo David wilkerson had the mark of the beast. Anyone can find something in a bible. everyone can buy the same bible. You have to get into the spirit. See the bible has blinded you. that is why you can't hear me talking about the power of the spirit. thats why its the mark of the beast

  • @MarkofBeastRevealed Wilkerson's prophesies came true... I think he was a real prophet, with a very good relationship with God. He didn't fall for these phony revival outbreaks and false prophets, but wanted to expose them.

Also, what does the Bible have to do with the number 666?

And how much of the Bible do you think someone should read to be saved before discarding their Bible?

  • @WeirdBrainGoo The bible is 66 books from the 6th king of scotland. King james was born 6, 1566, 6th king of scotland. He authorized 66 books and gave them power to speak (the bible says). The bible is history. reading it as history is one thing. reading it as having authority is another. If you can't see the truth or think you need a bible then you should throw it a way. IF David wilkerson could come back he would tell you to listen to me. Life is in the spirit. You never have to read a bible

  • @MarkofBeastRevealed There are other versions of the Bible than King James... Also, Wilkerson obviously reads the Bible every day and the spirit talks to him through it. He would never tell me to throw mine away, I'm very much certain he'd tell me to read it more. The Bible is how you learn about what God is like.

If there were no Bibles, no one would know of the spirit or of Jesus.

So you think the Bible will be a requirement for anyone who wants to sell or buy stuff?

  • @WeirdBrainGoo How many versions of the "word of God" can you have? don't you see that the word of God has to come to you in spirit, and that you can't buy it at a store? The bible is already a requirement for you to buy or sell. If you fight against the bible openly no one will buy from you or sell to you. Go into a church and rip one up you will see. Even the president has to swear on it or he can't buy or sell. The law is how you buy and sell. THE BIBLE IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST all 66 books

  • @MarkofBeastRevealed Actually in the world right now, you'd be able to buy and sell pretty much anywhere without a Bible... Though that could change for all I know.

I'm not saying you're safe with only reading the Bible, but I do think reading it is a way of listening to God and respecting him. If you rip one up, you would not be respecting the word of God...

Sorry, there's just no way I could agree with you on this...

  • @WeirdBrainGoo If it was a choice between meeting in Jesus or receiving his spirit into your heart you'd choose the materiality? God doesn't want us in anguish, this is just a false humility teaching. 5,000,000 years ago we branched off from the great apes. Chimps have 10 TIMES the working memory we have, their long term memory is better than ours and they have greater analytical skill. Give me a break on all the religious talk. We're all drops of water of the same ocean. This is divisive.

  • @shizzleman8 What are you talking about? Materiality?

God doesn't want us to not care about the suffering of our fellow men. Of course He wants us to have joy in our lives too.

Why are you talking about apes? If you don't want religious talk, why are you commenting on this video? What do you mean by saying we're all drops of water in the same ocean?

  • @MarkofBeastRevealed It came to us by 40 some odd Jewish men, 41 if you count the book of Abraham. It's just a collection of books. In Torcaso v. Watkins 1961 the requirement of passing religious tests for government was done away. The ACLU and atheists like Michael Newdow aren't letting the government get away with any sponsored religion. Go to any evolutionary biology class in any college and tear up a science text book, you'll probably get a similar response. Try to be more clever.

  • @shizzleman8 so you admit that its worshiped? does the president of the usa swear on a history text book before he can run the world? The bible is the mark of the beast. You have to be possessed by the Holy ghost. that is what God sent. I could care less if you know that the bible is the mark. What you need is for the power of the spirit to fall on you. Then you would be talking to me about the spirit and not about how clever you are. THE BIBLE IS THE MARK OF THE BEAST

  • @MarkofBeastRevealed How is a person's worship effecting us? Beliefs can be right or wrong and knowing certainly what ours or another's actually are is impossible because they're always changing and If I'm describing them to you it objectifies them and they're totally subjective. You have to be possessed of your faculties. God gave us souls, maybe everything that exists is soul, a part of God. Hopefully we'll both be more clever tomorrow than we are today. Ghost = SPECTRAL evidence.

  • @shizzleman8 People kill over there worship, wars, etc. It effects you. They are worshiping evil. There is a spirit of Good and there are words, unless you are worshiping the spirit of good, then you are just saying words. two people can do the same thing, but it can be evil for one and good for another. It is a matter of the heart. I am a witness for Christ that the bible is the mark of the beast, and that you have to be possessed by the Holy ghost. all man is born evil. we must be born again

  • God’s heart is crying out for us to turn back to him. David Wilkerson knew the heart of God and allowed the Holy Spirit to speak through him every time he opened his mouth. Thank you, Jesus, praise your holy name!

  • :'(

  • @mozzrt agreed!

  • I feel the same as MsAposolicgurl99. I don't want to get comfortable. I need to listen to this every other day to keep me on my knees in prayer. Or more like get me on my knees. I have not anguished.......no anguish. God help us.

  • I cant stop crying....this message is so true. Lord break me. I dont wanna be "comfortable" anymore.

  • @MsApostolicgurl99 I've been watching this video non-stop for about 4-5 months now and i cry evry time. God Bless You

  • @StayFitForLife77 Might I suggest studying modern law? The Federal Rules of Evidence, common court room objections, A List Of Fallacious Arguments (Don Lindsay Archive), law nerds dot com

This is basically emotion. When someone gives me information and uses emotion when they give it to me, it always makes me wonder WHY. Without the piano playing in the background and the emotive language does the message fall apart? It necessarily must. I'm happy you're crying though. Emotion is good.

  • @MsApostolicgurl99 Comfort's got you down? This message isn't an appeal to the soul it's an appeal to emotion using emotive language. It's a logical fallacy. What he's doing is condemning himself. You need someone to plead to you do to the right thing? Then you'll still be lost after the pleading is over. Science has led us past the point of "all have sinned and missed the mark, and unless you get saved you're going to hell". Hell isn't even a Bible doctrine, that came in later.

  • MrDaveyboyy. Romans 10:13, All who call out to the name of the Lord will be saved. God, forgive me too! I've lived my life with a false relationship with you, and instead have lived enveloped in a live of evil. Make me a changed man, in Jesus' name.

  • Lord forgive us all more me than anyone else I need u Jesus I need u JESUS I want u JESUS.

  • Experiencing anguish means not being lukewarm and halfhearted, but being real! Being real means understanding that real faith isn't something far removed from the everyday realities. For example, ONE CAN JUDGE SOMEONE BASED ON HOW HE/SHE TREATS THE DEFENCELESS and those weaker!

  • According to Wilkerson, The holy spirit is the spirit of truth! Truth has to overwhelm our feelings and go beyond what most of us precieve as simply being "theological".

Truth is a word that has been distorted to justify this and that but to somebody who is acutely concerned beyond momentary interest, truth is about sincerely following up real world observations and praying to the lord to assist us in making good through virtue and courage! This truth is valid,at least to all living human beings

  • Read Rev. Wilkerson's book called "The Vision," and pray for America, because if God didn't spare Sodom and Gomorra, if He can't stand WILLFUL SIN, we are is dire trouble. We elect people in the public office who couldn't care less about righteousness, or morality, let alone Biblical guidance. Going to a church doesn't make you a Christian any more than going to a Henhouse that will make you a chicken! We have been weighed in the balance and are found wanting!

  • @PatriotEyes Amen. in my prayer book for women, there was a quote that said Going to church does not make you a Christian anymore than going to McDonald's makes you a hamburger. Anonymous so real so true!

  • I really hate my comfort zone sometimes!!!

  • We can find (like he said: Nothing of the flesh will give you lasting joy, true joy comes out of anguish.) sincere satisfaction when we surrender to the anguish and let Him break us.

  • @JandJComedyBrigade The God I know does not wish to break me.

  • I really don't know what to say. As this message is truth, yet I disagree at some parts. I have also read the comments.... right now I'm trying not to judge. All I have to say is: Even in anguish, I can find joy. For He has blessed me in spiritual, and in secular things. Even in anguish, I rejoice and thank the Lord for all that he's given me! I know that whatever trial I am put into, it is for my own good, and for His will.

P.S. Infants and children of certain age who die, enter heaven.

  • Amazing message of Truth, ive been a Christian for 20 years and i must say the first 17 years was a great battle and very hard suffering pain and the last 3 years have been a great blessing and i wouldnt have it any other way!!!! ive fought the good fight and have overcome the darkest of the darkest times and if i can do it so can you!!! bless anyone who reads this!

  • Does anyone know where I can download this video?

  • What I get from this is, that only in our suffering does God break us, that the life of Christian will have pain. We should prepare and strengthen our selves, our minds, our soul to withstand any suffering or pain....at the very least have a light on to pull us up out of the suffering and pain...My light is Christ Jesus and I know He'll be my strength when I’m weak.

  • @msKCleigh I think I get where you're coming from. This world is full of pain and suffering and you have to ask yourself where is God in all of it. I am a Christian and I do believe what is written in the bible, and that's the perspective of the people responding to you, so yeah they're going to disagree with what you say. I hope that your quest to understanding God leads you the truth, whether it's what you are looking for or not. Best of luck. I hope it turns fruitful and makes you stronger.

  • @noneedforaname88 I know God. He's just not the person you're speaking of.

  • It's so sad that people burn in hell forever because they don't believe in god or they choose to live there life wrong

  • It is the "lack of knowledge" for those who listened to this sermon and left feeling his words were wrong and disgusting. The comment, "...my god would never..." is selfish and lacks true understanding of who God is. As Hosea wrote: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children..." (Hosea 4:6) <- that's Bible, that's TRUTH.

  • Children going to Hell? Makes me sick to my stomach for someone to speak those words. My god would never send children to hell. Sick.

  • @msKCleigh Your God? We ALL are under the SAME GOD. Your human point of view and understanding does not determine God's character.

  • @samuel45 I believe that there is one God, but I don't believe you know him as I do.

  • @msKCleigh I know Him well enough to know that suffering for his sake is a blessing. It's within your bible if you read it for once.

  • @samuel45 Suffering is never a blessing. God would not bless me with suffering. I do not believe the bible to be a credible source. I know God in my heart. I can see how you wouldn't understand that. You keep reading. Decipher the bible however you wish. I have read the bible cover to cover, it can be interpreted in too many ways. Your beliefs are not mine.

  • Oh! Wow! There is something wrong with this preacher. I will never get joy out of anguish. this man wants people to be miserable. No thank you!

  • @msKCleigh So i'm guessing you're a comfortable christian huh? You know would it kill you to look around and see people dying from their sin? To stop looking at your self and look at others? Pastor David was an awesome man of God, I honestly don't think he wants us to feel miserable, but convicted about us not feeling anguished about the people.

  • @rmwillis18 I don't see people dying from their sin. I see people dying from car wrecks, cancer, and other illnesses. He said he wants people to feel anguish. True joy can only come from anguish? Insane. He says people shouldn't be singing gospel in church and no one should be entertained. He wanted people to be miserable and praise Jesus for it. God is omnipotent, meaning he doesn't have to feel anguish. He could heal all pains with a thought. No child will go to Hell. DISGUSTING.

  • @msKCleigh Read your bible. EVERY man or women that God did mighty work in, or generation, had to face anguish of a righteous kind. Take Jesus for the perfect example. He face gigantic anguish so that you and I know eternal life. He saw the greater purpose of the suffering. People will go to Hell. People will go to Heaven. Otherwise what is the point of Jesus' life and the two men beside him at the cross?

  • @samuel45 That is your point of view, your interpretation....not mine.

  • You cannot have separate view on the cross of Jesus without making it what YOU want it to be; Jesus suffered for a greater good. Your kind of teaching wont build people it will BREAK THEM when life gets hard. Watch Loui Gigglio's video called ' When life hurts the most' amazingly brilliant true story and truth.

  • @samuel45 I am not broken. I am blessed. Life is always hard. Better to seek joy rather than anguish. I am not making anything what I want it to be. I am stating my beliefs, just because they differ from yours does not mean they are wrong. Your beliefs are your own.

  • @msKCleigh It's not a point of view, its a life choice. I choose to trust that God is at work in times of challenge or suffering. Us Westerners have no concept of suffering. My friend got back from a year in South Africa where a slum family said last Christmas their children's present/treat was a spoon full of jam. The anguish Mr Wilkerson speaks off is pain one sees and feels when seeing suffering around them. The anguish should be expressed in compassion, mercy, grace, forgiveness, etc.

  • Have you read the Bible at all? It says we are to rejoice in our sufferings and to consider it pure joy whenever we face trials. We persevere by doing so whenever our faith is tested. What Wilkerson is saying is that God needs to break the hearts of His people who seem to not care about the people who are on their way to hell without Him. The church is more concerned these days with entertaining the people of God, rather than reach out to the lost.

  • @Rawk4Life "What Wilkerson is saying is that God needs to break the hearts of His people" I'm sure glad that this man is God's advisor. Ridiculous. Once again, those are not my beliefs. I will never rejoice in suffering. I will never get joy out of anguish. That's for serial killers. Suffer all you want, I choose to see the glass half full. I have read the bible cover to cover and you can interpret it in too many ways. No one can be sure of the true meaning or of it's truth.

  • When people turn their backs on God, He has no choice but to allow them to suffer the consequences of their actions. Because of our free will, we often have to be down at the lowest point in our lives before we cry out to God for help. It's not His will for us to suffer, but we live in a sick and sin-filled world. Because of that, we will have trials and tribulations. The difference for Christians is that we can go to God for wisdom, compassion, and comfort.

  • @Rawk4Life I have never turned my back on God, God blesses me everyday. What about babies who suffer horrible illnesses. Babies are true innocents. No one has the answer as to why they suffer. Even though I believe in God, I don't neccesarily think that a non-believer will go to Hell. The God I know would not condemn people to Hell based on their beliefs. I don't think one religion has it exactly right and I follow my heart to God.

  • People won't go to Hell based on their beliefs? Apparently, you forgot about the passage in 1 Corinthians that says which types of character will not be allowed into Heaven.

  • @Rawk4Life I haven't forgotten anything. I just don't believe 1 Corinthians to be truth. What do you not understand? The God you speak of is not the God I know in my heart. The God the bible describes is not my God. You can believe as you wish. AGREE TO DISAGREE.

  • @msKCleigh You can know the truth. Christ gives the interpretation, and until He does there will be no knowledge, wisdom or truth among men. Pray. Prayer is how we passionately commune with God, and until God reveals something to you, you will hold as many beliefs about it as the wind blows your way. I too read the Bible cover to cover, and when I finished I was in anguish too...I was reading with the Author alongside me. Seek the truth and you'll find it. You have not because you ask not. ;)

  • @avissony I pray every day. The God I know is not the creature you speak of.

  • @msKCleigh When the presence of the Holy Spirit becomes so prevalent in your life that you can barely eat, sleep, or function normallly...when you find yourself praying 4 or 5 hours a day, you'll understand what David Wilkerson is saying, and what I'm saying. Don't let your experience be the King in your life. Seek to know Jesus Christ more intimately every day, when you do that, you will be broken. And that's a good thing! You'll care about lost souls, you'll actually love your neighbor, etc.
