  • Loved this game as a kid and the soundtrack as well

  • This game used to be at the deli around the corner from my house, played it almost everyday after school. Despite the sluggish scrolling it is ALOT of fun to play and has really cool explosions. Can't believe it has been almost 15 years since the deli shut down.....

  • just bought the machine for this on ebay its dedicated :)

  • The ancester of Gears of War, eh? Who'd have thought games would progress to the point they have, and in a mere span of 25 years (I believe this game came out in '86).

  • Did they use this as the basis of the similar looking GI Joe game from the early 90's?

  • I remember playing this game in a movie theater. Karate Kid 3 was playing, and I was supposed to watch that, but if you've ever seen Karate Kid 3, then you know why I spent so much time playing this instead of watching the movie.

  • @daveincognito wise move that movie sucked nuts

  • @daveincognito which I wonder, why did you buy a ticket for a movie that wasn't good? or was it a gift or something?

  • @superdoh My mom sent me with my brothers to see the movie. My brothers didn't even go; they left me to see it by myself. To our credit, we had no idea the movie was so boring.

  • i got the original arcade board for this ..game

  • this game is quite well. it not only uses the same formula as Contra's Fortress stages, but it ended up being improved by 1992 when G.I. Joe was released in arcades
