WORKING! If you don't get any music after installation, simply update Aali's custom graphics driver from the site in the description and, if like me you're on a 64 bit system, be damn sure you run 64bitpostinstall.bat and follow instructions - remember to remove the hash before running it though!

The link for the muisc patch doesnt work for me. Do I still need it? or can I do it using the music folder as it has alot of other files you didn't mention, like FF7music.exe which, when clicked on, opens that window for the music configuration.
For some reason i loaded another test fiile tifa theme works fine and everything but when i get to the part where you go with Tifa and Barret to get on the train no music plays anybody have that problem or does this download not have every single soundtrack for these parts?

@LukeHawkins02 You clearly just have some sort of learning disability. I was able to follow all of his videos without a problem. As for the links not working, sometimes people upload their things to different sites when the link expires. Try using Google.
So retarded....Why did they release this game on the pc and not include all of the music from the psx version that everyone was used to? And while I appreciate the music patch, even the mp3 music in it doesn't sound like the music in the game from the psx.
so i followed everything and it seemed to be working fine until i finish a battle then thats when the music just stops. then after awhile of running around again it starts up and just repeats when i get into a battle. any ideas about that? O.o
ugh even worse I jus got to the final battle and none of the music plays during the Safer or Bizzaro battles but it plays jus fine during the Jenova Synthesis gah this is why I hate computers
alright im having a big problem the music works fine but on some sequences it seems to not play at all like on the weapon attacking Junon scene the weapon raid music does not play at all and its pissing me off cuz alot of the scenes just suck without music playing
woah the remastered/remake soundtrack sounds fucking amazing only song I dont like it interupted by fireworks they ruined that one and chasing the black caped man but other then that everything seems better.

hello, nice guide but when you ar at the part where you open the ff7music program it already has the in_mad.dll in it, and then in files you say select profile OST remastered, the files are NOT filled in already when follow exactly what you do + i cant choose any profile at all... pls help with this, ones again i follow every step EXACTLY the way you do it but it doesnt show the same
Hi FFGamer077. If you watched or read the tutorial, it says that you need Aali's custom graphics driver installed for it to work. So install 1.02 patch + aali's patch and then do the thing it says to do in the file.
Ok. I some what got it working. It works but when It starts it sounds like it's being played twice. Like it plays one file but plays the same file again about a couple mil seconds behind the first one. If it helps I could not find the "FF7_opengl" file. This is the only mod I'm doing not the others so if there's a way to fix this please let me know. Thank you in advance . :D
@FFGamer077 Actually never mind I got it to work. For midi devices I need to select the one of the options witch was Microsoft GS Wavetable SW. Thanks a lot man. Now all I need is a good controller and I'm set. :D
hey, i've installed and used FF7 music before, but this is a different computer, so i'm re-doing it. I have followed all of the steps and everything has gone right so far, except one thing: when you say to go into the open gl file and edit it to delete the hash, i have windows XP and cannot see this file? :-/
