GM should have learned the first time around that the Camaro needs to be smaller and lighter similar to the Mustang. Camaros have always outperformed their competition from Ford and Dodge, but it undersold due to it's size. I'm not at all crazy about it, but I hope it proves profitable to GM.

Previously, I've owned a total of six Chevrolets including a 95 Z28. That Camaro was a fun car, but the driving dynamics sucked, visibility sucked, the drivers position sucked, the electronics sucked, the steering sucked, and finally, at 90K miles, it spun out a cam bearing (typical of this small block Chevy). My Subaru is so much better than any of my previous cars. From what Ive read in professional tests, the driving dynamics of the 'new' Camaro STILL suck, so I cant get too excited.

They are slowly making their way to dealers now. The camaro SS is slightly faster than the mustang GT by a few tenths of a second. Both very nice cars you should see some around soon. Many people have them on pre order so if your looking to buy you may have to wait a bit.

i own a 2006 gt and i'll admit you are correct on that. the only thing is that the v8 is going to produce that quicker plus it has i think 30 hp more. my guess is that they didnt increase the horsepower on the 2010's by much is because the 05-09 mustang was genius in numbers sold. ford is trying to appeal to most of the public because of the bad economy. i mean thats no fact its just an opinion of mine but it makes sense
