  • Very cool:)

  • This is such a great arrangement/performance Mark! I want to learn this. Are you in standard tuning? Is this in any of your instructional materials? I'm having more fun than ever since I discovered your fingerstyle books. Thank you!

  • skills

  • i like the looks, and sound of that collings small o. m. i have a 47 year old guild f112 string that i converted to a six string ,and it sounds like this ,may be better. i put a set of waverly tuners on it,and am getting ready to put a west african ivory saddle ,and f.w.tusk bridge pins in it. It is one of my finger style guitars ,used for celtic finger style, and some acoustic blues. i do believe that it is the smallest body guild that they ever made.

  • this guy defiantely has talent...I feel like someon with this much talent could have done a better cover...it sounds like ass...like the notes arent right or something

  • @getdrunkgethi420 if it sounds like ass, then lets hear your ass play it,come on show us how it should sound,if you can.

  • @snapperjohn1000 John, he don't gotta play nuthin to prove he's an ass!

  • @getdrunkgethi420 haha the notes are right. Try listening to the recording. Towards the end it does sound like Mark's having a little fun with the tune but other than that it sounds spot on to me. The tones might be different but he's only got so many octaves to work with on the guitar and he's playing like three parts!

  • Fantastico Maestro!!! En hora buena!!!

    Cheers!!

  • Wonderful...

I saw your name for the first time when you became friend with Erik Mongrain on facebook... I was right checking your name on youtube...

    Greetings from France!

  • Fine playing maestro!!!

33 years ago I was going to hitch a ride from South America to US (Nashville to be exact)

I wanted to learn all I could about finget picking styles.... well....instead of US, I came to Canada and instead of learning guitar picking I got married and learned to be a father (of three!!!) well never too late.... to are a true inspiration my friend... I will try to learn now that I am retired... Check my guitar videos if you wish

  • just wonderful. Very musical, and the sound of the guitar is fantastic. (What is it by the way, from the headstock i would say a bourgois guitar, but it's a wild guess.)

thank you for sharing, and i wish you the best for the new year.

    Laurent.

  • It's a Collings Small Jumbo. They are quite spectacular!

  • great arrangement and playing!

  • Hi Mark, When I first saw the title "Breakdown" I thought "Foggy Mountain". Not "Foggy", it's a classic from Tom Petty. Much Excellent!
