@dFALLENb Well, if you don't have X11s in the first place, minus-well get the P11s. The P11s are just as good and you have more control over it for the PS3 than you will with the X11s (since it's intended for Xbox only).

@anthonythegreate You wouldn't need that little cable, because that's only for Xbox. Second, you can only control your mic settings in the settings I showed you, you can also do it while you are in game. As for game volume, I think if you lower the game's mastery volume, I don't know if its will also lower the chat volume.

For people who aren't getting their mic to work you have to go into the settings and set which mic to use. The default is "do not use" which is why it's not working. I have the TB X12.

On the input it only has my turtle beach's as optional pick. On output i have Turtle Beach's as well. Ill try it as system default device. But isn't this for game audio? If i have game audio i can talk to people but can't hear them. Ill try it right now hopefully if i switch output from turtle's to system defaul it will work.

@FallennWarrior Go to 'Display Settings'. Then go to Video OUTPUT Settings. Make sure you select HDMI, and CHECK ALL BOXES (360p, 420p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p). And make sure your Sound OUTPUT Settings is set to the A/V Cables.

@TPark1196 I think he means the mic volume indicator. it just lets you know your mic is working. If you have an HDMI cable, all you have to change is your DISPLAY settings. Make sure that's set to HDMI.

Worked great =). The chat options on the PS3 work really well, since you can adjust the mic volume (turtlebeaches are EXTREMELY sensitive, putting the level on 5 will hear EVERY LITTLE THING. Level 2-3 is good, normal sensitivity on the 360).

This doesnt work with everyone because some PS3 Slims cannot provide enough power through usb for the headset itself. Same goes with the speedlink.

Go to SOUND Settings> Output> A/V Multi

Then for the VIDEO go to Video..... Display Settings> Video Output> HDMI...

This way your AUDIO or SOUND is coming from the A/V cables, and your VIDEO is coming from your HDMI cable.

-Make sure both the Red and White (stereo audio) jacks are tightly plugged in. and also make sure the headphone itself is plugged in properly.

-Try twisting the GREEN jack while it's plugged in, and see if it get's fixed, JUST DO IT GENTLY, because if you twist too much you can mess up the wire.

Sometimes the audio is louder in one ear for me also, but if you try twisting the green jack a little bit, it should adjust.
