I love how both stories kind of have the same pattern: boy falls in love with girl, girl hates boy because of misunderstanding, boy proposes, girl says no, girl falls in love with boy and eventually happily ever after if that makes sense....sorry I ramble sometimes.....yea so anyway love the video and have now added it to my iPod!

WOW - this was beautiful!! My favorite line of the song is "I've found I'm scared to know I'm always on your mind" and you nailed it with Thornton at 1;58 (JMO)! RA & MM are lovely lovely men and oozing with pains of love BUT Thornton's (RA) rejection was much much more painful!! I really like how you meshed the movies with this song! Great job!

Yes, this video is really great. The editing is very impressive and I like the fact that the two proposal scenes are put next after the other, same with almost every scene, the kissing of the hands. This video made me realize there are lots of similarities between this version of P&P and N&S. And MM and RA on the video! What more can you ask for!!!

It's kinda hard to explain. There's the central plot of a love story, but there are also a lot of subplots. It's based on a book. You can find a plot summary on IMDB or just searching for north and south, the 2004 version on google. sorry, can't give you a URL cause the comments here won't allow it. hope that helps. :)

This video is brilliant. Although I have never seen/read North and South, I have heard of it, and I loved how well it seemed to tie in with Pride and Prejudice. The audio voice-over choices were brilliant too; I loved it when the other guy (Mr. Thornton?) said "I do not wish to possess you! I wish to marry you because I love you!"

I used to avoid P&P videos with N&S on them, thinking it was just some other Jane Eyre/Wuthering Heightsish period love drama that I wouldn't like. I'm so glad I took a chance on your video, because now you've got me seriously interested! The song did part of the job, too! ^_^ Favourited it and gave it a 5! Oh and great sound editing, by the way, I think it's really hard to get it right.

Poor Thornton, it's bad enough he has to wait out three suitors befire he snags Margaret -- but all these "Mr. Darcy" / "Mr. Thornton" comparisons . . . Sheesh. Find a good brooding portrayal of Mr. Rochester and try it. The song would fit!

Apparently this song gets used a lot with P&P but I have to say that I really loved this video! I especially love how you put the scenes together with both of the movies! One of my favorite parts was when the couples hands meet! Great job! I like this video better then my P&P Collide video! ha ha :)
