Well on dragon lasers they sell 5mw purple, blue and orange for "$100" because they're more expensive to make, eBay is full of scamming f holes and I've encountered them, usually hong kong. Dragon lasers are great price for the quality.

Even with the more powerful lasers, you do need certain conditions for the beam to be visible.

Do these green Lazars actually show a beam with out the aide of some kind of special effect. I know the red Lazars do not show any beam. If green Lazars show beams thats a pretty cool effect.

Green lasers have a visible beam but the higher the power of them the more clear the beam becomes. I have a 10mW green laser and it doesn't have a clear beam at day, but at night it is amazing. I ordered a viper from Dragon Lasers last week and am hoping it comes on Monday. They have a good beam day or night. I recomend checking the dealer of where u buy lasers to be sure they are good and not a scam. If they aer a scam u could be hurting yourself. Hope this helped you.

Basically no difference. The GW model will be slightly better for photography because you will not have the broken beam effect caused by the pulses.

viewed from the same position as the video camera,the 175mW green beam does look like that-even the night shot with the beam going away from the camera.

in fact it looks better with the naked eye rather than through the camera.

also,the smoke affected the laser beam on the indicated section of the video-but only by enhancing the brightness.
