  • Dahlia: Dah Lia: the liar

  • Why do I come here - it only makes me sniffle again...

This damn game gets me every time! D:

  • Between this and the ending of the last case I was crying like a little baby.

  • Terry had it the worst in all of the Ace Attorney games, no doubt. He killed himself believing that there was still love between him and Dahlia. But the worst part was, no one cared, save Mia, and perhaps Godot. The man was in prison for...five years, I think it was? For something he didn't commit.

Hence "Terry Fawles," Terry being the fall guy.

  • WHO THE HELL IS THE IDIOT THAT DISLIKED THIS VIDEO?!

  • @AcerHawkz No he just cried so hard his and slipped on the dislike button

  • @cobaltflames No, its Dahlia

  • @Xmvtjets96X ok dahlia cried so hard her hand slipped on the dislike button

  • @cobaltflames lol

  • Mon thème réminiscence préféré... ♥

  • I'll be honest, at first I thought this song sounded pretty ugly. However, after listening to it over again, it grew on me. It really seemed to dawn on me just how sad this incident really is...

  • ...........

    Mia: Huh? mr. Fawles?!

Fawles:thats enough, please... I-I promised her... 5 years ago... if that ever happens... that we can't thrust no other no more... were supposed to ... drink... bottle

Edgeworth: N-NO! S-Stop the trial! Your Honor! We need a reccess!

TF:I... i was stupid... couldn't keep promise... so I did it ... I... drank... this...

MF:No we're so close! Just a little more...

TF: don't want that!...maybe kill again...dahlia... and mr. Armando... thanks for the coffee...

  • @TheSonicfan3000 poor terry fawles. fooled by dahlia

  • @cobaltflames He deserved better.

  • I must say this is good quality.

  • SPOILERS! Just finished this game a second time after completing it couple of years ago. What really bothers me is why they didn't simply explain to Pearl what her mother had in mind, they knew about Morgan's plan after all. This way nobody would even think of channeling Dahlia and everything would be fine. Misty didn't have to die... espacially not like this. :(

  • @dapi88 I think it was because Diego wanted revenge on Dahlia, wasn't it?

  • @Yoshkev Yes but he only did that after she murdered Terry Fawles in court with poison while Moragan was working, Gotot (or Diego Armando) Mistey Fey (Elisse Duenoxanim or whatever) had a plan to channel Dahlia first. Dahlia tried to kill Maya so not only was he taking revenge. He was kinda making it up to Mia because at the end, he conluded it was his fault that she died.

  • @theshadowedmaster123 OK, one thing I can't unsee in your comment is the typo "Gotot"... Tot means death in german... But I still don't see anything at all in your response... Can you explain it again for dummies? xD

  • I've just beat the game.

Well... it's one of the saddest ending I have ever seen.

How can be Godot send to prison... after all, he just wanted to save someone, huh ?

    His story is so tragic.

btw, this songs tells all about the ending.

  • @azaki44 Godot said it himself

He doesnt think he even cared about saving maya, if he did he would have just went to wright, he did it for revenge against the woman who took everything away from him

  • i nearly cried at that case... i really love dahlia for being that heartless, but poor terry...

  • Poor Terry...

He died with a taste of steel and coffee in his mouth...

He died looking at Dahlia's angelical eyes....

He died... knowing she never loved him...

That it was all a farce.

  • Terry Fawles definitely had himself a frivolous death. 1. He was going to die either way, by prison or Dahlia, and 2. Since Dahlia wasn't going to be found guilty, all she had to do was amend one contradiction about the scarf and she wouldn't have been exposed, leading to his death. It's pretty obvious that I think of alternate endings in this series, like if Dr. Grey hadn't missed with his shots. My favorite ending would be Mr. Portsman from AAI. He could've actually pinned it on Gumshoe.

  • @Ganonmustdie2 Um.......he did :P

  • @scottm1211 That's the spirit!

  • Reminds me of a 1930s ragtime tune lol

  • My sister is playing throught the AA series, and is bored of the Tres Bien case. I said "They get better, but the next one is incredibly depressing." she said "All the ones you find depressing I like! So I think I'll be okay."

I'm not so sure.... poor Terry.

  • terry fawles has to be one of the ace attorney series' most tragic characters. He did everything Dahlia asked him to do out of love, and he lost his life for it...

  • @wheniruledworld did you know that his suicide cause a delay to sell this game in europe that the 4th game (apollo justice) came out first before this game :P

  • @Maurjen apparently they forgot this is a game about a lawyer that takes on MURDER CASES.

  • 1:28...gives me fuckin creeps :O

  • This is such a sad song. Terry Fawles' emotional suffering with someone so evil as Dahlia Hawthorne getting away with the develish angelic smile of hers.

  • that brigde...

    the place where everything began

  • @conan263 and the place it all ended...

  • trial ended with no winners, only losers.

  • it left a cut so deep in my soul i htought it would never recover...

    (Mia Fey, turnabout beginings)

  • i love this song, poor Terry, that case was so sadly

  • Poor Terry Fawles. He never could get a bite out of that ball and chain. :(

  • it's so sad and beautiful

  • The songs are so ...:/ cool .....

  • It's amazing how much the music influences me

  • every time i hear any reminiscence song, i get so sad...

  • They're all sad songs of sad things happening to sad people.

  • Jailbait or not, it's obvious who was the predator in this case :((

  • "The only time a Lawyer can cry is when it's all over." -breaks Coffee cup and blood trickles down hand-

    ~ Diego Armando/Godot

  • @TrainerAlec Have you forgotten already, Wright? In my world, the color red doesn't exist. These must be... my tears.

They thought of the symbolism... tears, a wound, and his vision together

  • I think the thing that made me cry the most in that case was whenever Terry got all tear-eyed and sad. His sad face almost made me want to give him a hug. I swear, I think he had the saddest sad face out of all the people in the whole game. :(

And what made it worse is what happened to him at the end of the trail. Poor, Poor guy...

  • Aw man, I love this song...when that drop of blood trickled from Fawles' mouth, I actually cried-- one of the saddest moments of the series.

  • Yes, it is.

"Mr. Armando. Thanks for the coffee. *ugh*"

    .

  • This song makes you pity and hate Dahlia at the same time. Everyone she new did abandon her, but Iris didn't and yet Dahlia despised her anyway. :<

  • After what i saw in the 4th case/ mia's first case i was fucking glad dahlia was discoverd her true self and died for it

  • this song is probably one of the saddest songs in the series...period.

  • Gah... so sad. ): There was when it was used when Iris sympathized for Dahlia, and I actually felt kinda bad for her... but I think I felt worse for Mr. Fawles, who couldn't trust or believe in anything after this point. Beautiful song.

  • This tune makes me Cry. Legit. ;_;

So much in this game was just insanely emotive - no game has ever made me feel so many things at once, and so much hatred for one being.

This is the Legacy of Ace Attorney.

  • Demonic

    Angel

    Hatred

    Love

    Innocent

    Acting

  • @bluedude1498 where did you get that idea lol.

  • @bluedude1498 The "L" should stand for "Liar" as Dahlia never loved anyone.

  • At first I thought that Diego was cold, the perfect opposite to the coffee he loves, but then episode 4 made me realize something else. He isn't cold hearted. It's just his way of making things work.

  • This was probably my favorite song in the series. Too bad it's not heard often in the game...

  • To be fair, the Bitter Tast of Truth is only played like twice, and I Begrudge You is only played like two or three times for Viola and once for Larry, as well as Steel Samurai Ballad was played once for Adrian.

What I'm getting at, is that it was played a lot, in comparison.

  • But you forget if you play the bad ending of Justice for all, The Steel Samuari Ballad is played again for the enitre text sequence.

  • True, but I was talking about T&T. Not JFA. >_>

  • Oh. I thought you were talking in general. Sorry ^^;

  • Quite alright.

  • The fourth case made me go "WTF?" at the end.

All your work is wasted because the defendant's simple mind was taken advantage of. Dahlia was a bitch, and the only thing that made me happy was that she's dead after the first case.

  • More or less the point...other than introducing Diego.

  • but, even death cannot stop her from reaching her evil goals...

  • @Yamibooze

    Godot and Mia can >:D

  • "My sweet Dahlia..."

    *shivers*

  • The four words that made me shiver were "My teen angel, Dahlia".

  • That was more awkward than disturbing.

  • It made me think he was a pedophile on the side.

  • *shudders violently and falls off chair*

    *Somewhat Spoilers*

Terry really is a good man deep on the inside, but when it came to that, I felt like i was going to die from that, and he did. For that reason T^T

  • and this is why I loved this game the most out of the entire series...'cause it has too really intense scenes: this one and the one near the end

  • Immedieately reminds me of Terry.

  • the beginning feels like it should be violetta's theme
