  • good idea - but! these machines are too old -they can have unexpectedly failure (age is age)

where is adequate protection against anti tank missiles?!

  • @MrFiringpin

This system is just upgrading of armament for old APCs and IFVs, thats why these machines in the video are old.

  • i think russia an u.s. should work together agenst islam they dooing it in chechnya boznia and other various places and u.s. is doing sum in iraq iran pakistan afgan. but together there gooin down (yes im saying this becuz im scared of russia)

  • I build the century there!

  • It's very interesting that Russia itself could not afford to buy such a weapon to effectively fight terrorists in Chechne.Armiya can not afford to buy a gun in his own country, but Putin is a new yacht, villa and his friends will be expensive villas, yachts and aircraft and abroad! even insulting Putin west, but west is interested in Russia that Putin rules! West is not profitable for Russia to be strong, the West needed only resource

  • @livediller The population of Russia under Putin has been reduced to 2 times faster, as well as plan for Allen in Dallas. Although it sounds ridiculous, but Putin - a CIA agent

  • @livediller why dont you look up how troope eqiupped in chechnya now and then talk

  • that thing must be installed on every bmp, bmd, btr and also the mt-lb.. it is going to be a hard task but very effective !!

  • buen tanque sistema antiaéreo tierra aire esta buen seria buena que estuviera en venezuela

  • he could just " rent" them. LOL.

  • fps russia needs to get these!

  • Zivela Majka RUSSIA !!!

  • SWEET THING - SIMPLE, NASTY AND DEADLY!

I'M POLISH AND I LOVE THE RUSSIAN MILITARY TECHNOLOGY!

  • This is cool, but

    1. Most of Russia's "good base vehicles" are too old and are not worth being updated

2.Russia has already refused a number of heavily armed vehicles from mass production, exemplified by the BMPT and BTR-90.

So I guess this is geared towards export, where this is bound to have some success if the price is right.

  • @T90SVladimir

So you are implying that exported versions will be of better quality than what Russia will have? And that some advanced weapons that Russia "cannot" buy will be exported to others and denied to Russian Army despite the high price?Selling off high tech to others is like shooting yourself in the foot, lol.Military companies in Russia work hand in hand with government and nothing will leave the country of sensitive tech,we all know that.

  • @BoxyTheSpaceDog No, not implying that at all. What I'm saying is that the Russian MOD has stopped equating gun size with quality. They are OK with HMG-armed BTR-80s over BTR-90s, but they do want them new and working. A pretty west-mimicking move, stressing professionalism and training over sheer numbers+firepower (though they are no doubt still critical). US has never put cannons on mainstay APCs (M113/Strykers).

This is nice for countries that lack heavy hardware.
